   Ordering from Mohini Balti House takeaway was an absolute delight. From the moment the bag arrived, the rich aromas of freshly ground spices filled the air a promise of something special inside. The chicken tikka masala was a standout tender pieces of chicken in a creamy, spiced sauce that was full of depth without being overpowering. The lamb rogan josh was equally impressive cooked to perfection, with a sauce that clung beautifully to every bite. The pilau rice was fragrant and fluffy, the perfect companion to the curries, while the garlic naan was still warm, soft in the middle, and lightly crisp on the edges exactly how it should be, even after delivery. What really impressed me was how fresh everything tasted. Often with takeaway, you expect food to lose some of its quality in transit, but here, every dish arrived hot, flavorful, and full of life. Even the Meat samosas kept their crunch, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — This is takeaway done right: fresh, authentic, and full of heart. A real treat that brings the vibrant taste of India straight to your doorstep

   The most awful place ever. Would never use again. Chicken rock hard so couldn’t be swallowed and the sauce was like water. It was disgusting

   Only word to describe it is poor. For a place that is a 20 minute drive away, we waited double the 1hr mark provided on the phone. The food was served lukewarm, naan was tough like eating cardboard, and the balti/ madras dishes were watery. After waiting over an hour we called and were informed it would be another 15mins, eventhough we could hear conformation in the background that the driver would be another 20mins to even get back to the resturant. Despite the lies, the woman on the phone was also very commanding, she was sympathetic to us and apologised. But when we called again after waiting the 20minutes, she rudely bossed who I believe to be the manager around saying that we weren’t happy. To which the supposed manager spoke to us and issued money back upon order arrival, which was a kind gesture and ok customer service but doesn’t justify the disorderly service or quality of the food. We also appreciate the free dish (complaint) but, very disappointed, order elsewhere!

   Had chicken tikka masala with rice. The chicken was non existent (if I had 1 breast I would be surprised) and either the sauce was very watery or the rice had not been drained properly either way I ended up with a plate of water which was pretty horrible and tasteless. This was the same for my daughters boyfriend who had same as me. We normally go to blue bengal or Saqui but Saqui has changed recently so thought we’d try Mohini which was a mistake as this was nasty. Naan bread was good if that’s anything.

   This has to be the worst takeaway I've had. Chicken was so dry. Lamb was chewy . Neither curry had any spice or taste and the garlic naan had no garlic. Gave a 1 as the meat samosas were very nice.

   Extremely disappointed with the service. Ordered my food to be ready for 7:00 but when I arrived was not, it eventually was ready an hour later. Got back home and they were missing some of my food, called to tell them and they claimed we had not ordered it. Clearly had as when I rang they read the order back to me and what I had ordered was read back to me, they said that they could not prepare the food for me till later on and I would have to pay more for items I had order. Absolutely horrible.

   I ordered a curry from their website and it is now over 2 hours since I ordered it. I've ordered regularly from Mohini Balti House and have enjoyed the food but this will be the last time. I rang the guy over the phone to ask where my order was and he said the driver has just left the restaurant and will be 10 minutes with no apologies, it only takes a few minutes to drive from Carshalton Beeches to my road and in the end he took 20 minutes from when I rang, the food unfortunately was lukewarm as well. Never again.
