First time at Thai Orchid and had a brilliant time. Proper authentic Thai restaurant with a great menu and plenty of choice. Was busy when we visited but service was with a smile and attentive. Had to try the famous Pad Thai and wasn’t disappointed. Huge portion with plenty to take home to enjoy another day. We definitely will be back.
Ate at the Thai Orchid for the first time last night. Absolutely loved the food. Very fresh and flavoursome. Great service too. Will definitely visit again.

Had a lovely meal here on a Saturday night. We booked ahead and were greeted kindly. I was given a menu with allergens listed and had no trouble choosing something suitable. I went for the thai sweet and sour chicken which was the best sweet and sour dish I've had! Has a very family intimate feel with thai music playing in the background. The cocktails and wines are a standout too! Can't wait to come back soon!
Best place in Preston and area for Thai food. I've been coning here for at least 10 years. The service is superb and the food is amazing. I recommend the mixed starters and garlic rice. The drinks are also amazing, with varied choices of cocktails and wines. Definitely worth a visit!
Very odd place. The food is nice without being spectacular but the place is very dated. On the expensive side too.

We've been eating at the Thai Orchid since it first opened, about 20 years ago. We've eaten various lovely things from the extensive menu, but always come back to the same things, which the staff always remember, which is obviously lovely. I've seen people recently complain that it's not some flash thing and that sometimes the -freshly cooked- food is slower than other places. If you want good Thai food, this is the place. Proper Thai food, cooked by proper Thai people. Look, it's a tiny restaurant, it's not EastZEast. BTW - the front-of-house guy, Alex, is an absolute legend. I think my wife might leave me for him.
My first time at the Thai Orchid. We ordered a banquet for six and we were amazed at the quantity and quality of the food. Would highly recommend.
