Really great seasonal food with incredible produce. It's at the top end of the price range for some of the dishes, but overall the quality justifies the price. I've been for both a la carte and set menu and highly recommend both

An amazing restaurant, donβt get me wrong. The dishes were interesting, delicious and simple at the same time. We loved the drinks as well. A beautiful space in a not so beautiful neighbourhood. The only issue was the prices, which i feel were outlandish. Other than that, the service was impeccable.

The best restaurant in London imo. We ordered so many dishes, and not a single one let us down (okay maybe the sheep milk ice cream was a bit more testing)which is actually quite rare. Favourite was definitely the Raw Hereford Rib, Hen of the Woods & Ramson Capers. Despite how good the food is, the restaurant feels casual and not pompous which is nice.

A fantastic experienceβexceptional British seafood with a modern twist, where every dish was simply outstanding. The wine pairings were spot on, complementing the flavors perfectly. The service was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Set in a beautifully decorated, modern restaurant, it made for an unforgettable dining experience.

Definitely one of the best experiences I had in London. The food was incredible, my personal favourite was the fish and the gazpacho. The desserts were great and the vegan one for me was mind blowing as I usually find them to lack flavour. We also did the wine pairing as well and thought it added so much to the experience. The only thing to improve Iβd say is the timing, the wait especially in the beginning was a bit long and dinner ended up lasting a long time too.

I like this place. Food is delicate and precise but the restaurant has a casual, industrial local vibe to it that makes it feel less stuffy than other places of that quality. The food is creative and wholesome enough to not be as uninspiring as the fine dining options of that usual standard. Staff were lovely. I enjoy the East London high ceilings and brick walls, and the way the light pours through the windows. More of a spring/summer location than winter though, as it is a bit airy and cold.

Great place for a dinner especially for a special occasions. The dishes are offering a surprising combinations of flavours and the tasting menu is an amazing experience. The service is very kind and make your experience unforgettable. The drinks are great as well in particular the pear and anise one is just to die for. Had great time and will definitely come back soon

Had an amazing lunch here, between the two of us we we're both delighted by the food and service. The staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful while all the food was delicious. As expected the wild game choice of mallard was incredible but perhaps the standout dish was the raw beef with fermented mushrooms and radicchio, truly incredible! Can't wait to go back!

Phenomenal experience: Lyle's is a nicely located, discreet and award-winning restaurant that is worth a visit by anyone. We went there for Saturday lunch, so no tasting menu was available at the time. We instead opted to order most of the items in their Saturday menu, plus two desserts, which were more than enough for our party of four. The food was incredible, covering all kinds of products and styles, and so was the service, which were very kind to us. Most importantly, the price was very competitive for a restaurant of this quality. Overall, a very nice restaurant in Shoreditch which is sure to please you if you stop by.

One the the 2 restaurants in London to make it to the recent world s top 50 list. Lyle's had been on our list for sometime now. Finding a convenient lunch time reservation, we went to Lyle's in January to see what the fuss was about. Located in Shoreditch in a very nondescript building. The restaurant is not pretentious. A very simple, canteen like feel. The food was brought up one by one, and the chefs could be seen busy in the open kitchen. The restaurant wasn't very full at lunch, but everyone seemed to be very happy with the flavours and the simple presentation of the food. The service was the only reason why I can't give this restaurant a 5 star. It was lacklustre and a bit confused and not very friendly. I don't see why that was, given how empty the restaurant was. All in all, kudos to the chef and their team. But a friendlier service crew would do wonders. I suppose it's the ranking that has made them a bit snooty. Not a pleasant experience, I certainly won't be back anytime soon.
