The food was beautifully prepared and thoughtfully presented, with well-balanced and refined flavours. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and very pleasant, creating a unique dining experience that feels close to the kitchen. During the meal, I noticed the chef tasting a piece of chicken while slicing it. It was unclear to me why this happened, and it may well be part of the kitchen’s usual tasting process, but it was a small detail that caught my attention. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and the setting is lovely. A great spot for those who appreciate fine dining in a more personal, immersive environment.

amazing experience, truly tasty food combined with friendly smiles and generous service. thank you to the team for their hospitality and last minute accommodations for menu + seatings! my brother doesn’t eat raw fish, so the tuna course was kindly swapped to aubergine, which was delicious highlights for us were the breads and the multiple condiments that came with it (especially the vegan parfait). LOVED the rich buttery pollock, and the citrusy pre-dessert. every course had textural elements and pops of flavour that you wouldn’t expect. seeing the chefs prepare your upcoming dish in front of you, and then explaining in exquisite detail truly reflects the care put into each dish. the warm, perfectly gooey, mini lava cake to finish was a delight. you wouldn’t regret coming here.

Excellent fine dining in an elegant atmosphere. The menu advertised five courses, but we were treated to seven or eight dishes throughout the evening - a generous touch. Every course was beautifully executed and delicious. They ask you to wait in the ground floor pub until service begins, which is fine. Staff were wonderful throughout - attentive, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. My only complaint is the seating arrangement felt cramped. Removing one or two tables would significantly improve comfort without sacrificing the intimate atmosphere.

I had dinner with my wife at Evelyn’s Table and it turned out to be one of the more memorable meals we’ve had in London. The concept is quite unique. It’s a small and intimate space where you sit right by the counter and watch the chefs prepare each course. The food was creative, a nice fusion of Japanese and British elements, and everything was well balanced in flavour and presentation. The drink pairing was spot on and complemented the dishes beautifully. Service was excellent too - friendly and attentive from the moment we had drinks at the bar upstairs to the end of the meal. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but for a Michelin restaurant with this kind of experience, it felt justified. Overall, it was a great evening for us.

It deserves all the good reviews I have read and more. Intimate 12 cover fine dining restaurant. You get to sit literally around the kitchen and admire the magic as it happens. 5 course tasting menu with the option of drink pairing. You can choose which kind of pairing you want. We opted for half with and half no alcohol. It was a great choice because while the wine was delicious the non alcoholic drinks stole the show. I have never tasted fish courses highlighting the flavour of the fish so respectfully. Everything was perfect. Unforgettable!

There aren’t words to describe how wonderful dinner was at Evelyn’s Table. They should have more than one Michelin star. The entire experience was perfection from the second we walked in the door. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the chefs were very personable while making mind blowingly good food. Every dish was fantastic and the wine pairing was very unique and exploratory. Even the music selection was perfectly executed for the feeling of the space and the meal. It is worth every penny and second invested in having a meal here.

Food journey across a delicious tasting menu - 1st time @ Evelyn‘s Table. Would recommend my best friends (Y/N: YES! Setup: Party of two, at a fully booked 12-Seat counter restaurant. We would have preferred a little bit more space - but it was sufficient. The vibe is „low key“ with dimmed lights and classy decoration. Menu: We opted for one vegetarian and one pescatarian version of the menu. Both convinced, however, the vegetarian lacked some alternatives and instead had elements removed Food: The food tasted fantastic - quality ingredients executed with a innovative twist and great versatility of flavours - to be expected at £120 a head. Service and drinks Did not disappoint, however, drinks felt pricy even for a Michelin star restaurant. Details below: When: Nov 22 Party size: 2 Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 8.0/10 Food: 8.5/10 Drinks: 7/10 Value for price: 7.5/10 Favourite: Daikon Mini-Burger and Celeriac with blackberries and chocolate dust Disappointed: no disappointments

It's comfortably up there in top 5 all time restaurants. The food is wonderful and there's a few surprise dishes which I won't post pictures of to try and keep it that way.. Difficult to pin point a stand out when every dish had something unique, and was really tasty. Special mentions for the oyster with tempura with all kinds of wizardry on top and the version cooked to perfection. It's fine dining food without the pretentiousness. The setting is really special watching all the talented chefs at work. It's a lovely touch with each course they explain all its components. The 2 additional staff are really friendly and welcoming and the playlist was great. Loved it all.
