The lady on the front desk is so so lovely! And gave us prawn crackers on the house! The food here is always so tasty and cooked perfectly. Would recommend if you are staying in york or live here. 10/10
The lady at the counter was so lovely when we went to pick the food up, she even gave us an extra bag of prawn crackers on the house! I think the food was delicious; I had king prawns which you could tell were cooked fresh which I’m always a bit skeptical about when ordering a takeaway . The portions were nice and big too!! No complaints with any of the dishes I ordered. Would definitely recommend, thank you :)
Was visiting the area and decided to get a takeaway, chose the Crispy Duck based on the reviews. Though we only had a couple of Hot and Sour soups and two main meals they were superb. Service was great, fast too. Would definitely return, very highly recommended.
Ordered tonight a large order of £75 and we ordered around 6 main dishes and every single person commented how beautiful the food was!! Everything was full of flavour and tasty , we collected our order and the place was spotless clean & big open kitchen 10/10!! We are from West Yorkshire and are fussy about Chineese food but I highly recommend this place

We visited the Crispy Duck on Christmas Eve whilst staying in York . We called in on the off chance and it was full of locals ordering or collecting (always a good sign) The first thing that struck me was the staff -the lady on the counter was lovely and really friendly -apologising for the 25 minute wait . Anyway it was well worth it - food was plentiful , piping hot and delicious . All in all a great find . I would recommend this takeaway -yes there was a wait but it was definitely worth it !
Our favourite Chinese. Turned up just before closed and asked if it was still okay to order and they said of course. Lovely staff and brilliant food
I live around the corner from this Chinese and order pretty frequently and the food is always very good. I've tried a few Chinese takeaways in York and most are pretty poor, this is literally the only one I enjoy eating. Its sometimes pretty busy, but to me that's the sign of a good place. Plus I like that they have a good enough reputation they do not need to sell on Just Eat.
