   I must say, this place is a hidden gem in Liverpool. The owners, Christian and Saroja, are truly amazing, and the food was absolutely incredible. The Tiramisu was the best I have ever eaten since I last had it in Milan near the Duomo. The cartoccio fillings with chicken and mushroom was really amazing !! The ambiance is superb, making it a must-visit Italian restaurant in Liverpool. If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine, this place near Lark Lane and Sefton Park is a must-visit. It is just 10 to 15 minutes away from the city center.

   Popped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The staff are really nice, I had a lemoncello spritz, a coke, a tiramisù, and a cacciatori. Everything was all very nice and full of flavour. The atmosphere is rather calm and fits the Italian theming very well with Italian decorations dotted all around. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area looking for quick Italian street food.

   Loved dinner at Cartoccio, the venue is warm and welcoming and the food is absolutely delicious - fresh, flavourful dishes served in generous portions with great attention to dietary requirements. Do not miss the pork! Utterly pleased they stock my favourite unfiltered Ichnusa which is a rare gem, try it if you go. Definitely recommend.

   Absolutely perfect. I’ve been meaning to eat here forever based on a hunch that it would be delicious and down to earth. I wasn’t wrong. I stopped by for a late lunch - ordered the soup of the day - which had depth of flavour, balanced textures, and beautifully cooked. Looking forward to the hand made pasta, wines and desserts on offer. Lovely decor, charming service, cool independent, unpretentious vibe.

   Simply WOW. As an Italian, I always stay away from Italian restaurants abroad, but knowing this was an authentic one, I gave it a try. I was blown away by the simplicity and freshness of the ingredients, the tastes and the hospitality of the host and chef. Everything here is fresh and authentic food, you can taste the love the owner puts into every dish she serves. This place is a must try, especially if you are Italian :)
