   It was such a delight to dine here. The food was delicious. The smoked half chicken was absolutely juicy despite it being smoked which is usually isn't the case and the reaper was absolutely spicy as hell but the patty was delicious. The scoop doo was immaculate. And Joseph was so attentive and constantly checking in to make sure we didn't die of the spiciness and made sure we were comfortable. Loved being here!

   Wow!! Amazing food here and exceptional service. Really knowledgeable staff who can tell you the origins of the drinks, how all the food is made and are really switched on in relation to inclusion. We had a fantastic time and even had to bring some food home as we couldn't manage it. 10/10 ....will definitely be back!

   The baby ribs are good but the taste is overwhelming. Id say they were a bit dry and the sauce overpowered the meat, which was not juicy. The service us great, the place is clean and the staff is very friendly

   I had the short rib and mac & cheese, and all I can say is that it was probably the best meal my wife and I had on a 2 week vacation to the UK! The short rib was tender, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The mac & cheese, was probably the best I ever had. If we are ever in York again, we will definitely be dining at Pavement Vaults!!

   The food is delicious, the place is lovely and clean, and the staff are great. Just be warned that portions are big so ask before you order (they don't do doggy bags). The trays come with two sides of your choice. The steak was delicious and cooked as ordered. The pork ribs were soft and juicy. We were both very happy and full after our dinners.

   Very busy so worth booking, dog friendly also! We had the normal burger, one of the best we have had! Great staff, friendly & great service. Good selection of drinks & great menu. Wanted to try a few different things! The standard burger was a great choice, a lot of fries with it too! Would highly recommend & will definitely return.

   Popped in for lunch as was looking for places that did more than the standard "vegan burger option". (They also do a vegan burger). The vegan option ordered was the cauliflower pit tray with fries & slaw as the sides, all cooked & seasoned nicely. For a light bite I ordered the Beef shin nuggets & salt/pepper wings, both cooked nicely & great appetizers. The staff are friendly, the decor modern & they have a vast selection of beers/ales
