Came in just for a simple hot chocolate to take away. What I got instead was a full TED Talk about how this is supposedly “the best hot chocolate you’ll ever have.” Spoiler alert: it absolutely wasn’t. Despite clearly asking for takeaway, the drink was casually made at the bar, with one staff member throwing it together while the other was busy socializing with customers. Priorities, I guess. After all the hype, the hot chocolate itself was impressively underwhelming — bland, watery, and completely forgettable. If this is the best, I’d hate to try the average. All style, all talk, zero substance. Travelers, do yourselves a favor and don’t fall for the sales pitch. Plenty of better cafés in London.

This is a restaurant inside of the Hilton Hyde Park. It serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. The place is decorated beautifully, and the food is tasty and good. We had a good experience here.

I’m not giving 4 stars or higher because I remember what Aubaine used to be. I used to live in Notting Hill and this was my go to place for breakfast. It’s been a few years since I visited but the food wasn’t as good, the bacon was super salty and almost inedible. The mushrooms were good as were the eggs, the hash browns tasted like they were frozen and heated up. They took out the comfy couch area by the front door where I would sit and have coffee and it just wasn’t the same vibe as it used to be.

We visited Aubaine for brunch on a lovely day, and overall, it was a good experience. The restaurant offers a wide selection of brunch options, which made choosing a bit difficult (in a good way!). While it is on the pricier side, the cost is understandable given its prime location—just a short walk from Hyde Park, making it a great spot to stop before or after a stroll. The atmosphere was relaxed and it wasn’t too crowded, which added to the comfort of the experience. The breakfast was fresh, and the coffee was especially enjoyable—rich in flavour and nicely presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing positively to the overall vibe. All in all, Aubaine is a very good place to enjoy brunch in London, especially on a beautiful day.

A lovely decorated restaurant next to Hilton. They offer french style food. The ingredients combination and the taste is quite surprised. When using theFork to book a table, there is a 50pct discount and it is worth to try

I reserved a 3 dishes experience. The food was good, burrata salad, sea bass. They didn’t have any of the desserts expect the one on display, they were too much after the meal. My expectation was, to have a set menu that is well organized and the dishes goes together..

The staff were friendly and good customer service. Central location and lovely atmosphere. I had french toast for breakfast and it was good. The price is a bit high but the portion is big, so it can be shared between 2. The only downside is food takes long to arrive.
