I’d been recommended this place and, without realising it, I’d actually visited many years ago when Tom Atkins was running it—so it was a pleasant surprise to return. Having eaten at Phil Howard’s The Square, I was curious to try this restaurant as well. Overall, the service was friendly and on-point, especially from Charlie. The ambience was very good—busy for a Saturday evening in early December, with a couple of birthday groups of six to eight guests adding to the atmosphere/noise. The food was good: nothing groundbreaking, but tasty and nicely presented, as you’d expect. However, at £314 for two people, it was definitely on the pricey side. The pre-dinner cocktails were £16 each, which felt fairly standard, but £47 for three 175ml glasses of wine was steep. In hindsight, ordering a bottle would have been better value. The £40 service charge was not optional. So definitely Michelin star prices. So, rather than a regular spot for us, this feels more like a place for special occasions. We’d return to try the Sunday roast at £60 for three courses.

Being honest the food was fairly average for what we paid but drinks were very nice. Was alittle disappointed as this place was recommended by a food podcast I listen to. However overall was a pleasant evening and staff were top notch.

Had a birthday celebration dinner here and we tried the autumn menu. We did have some expectation for the food as it looks great on their Instagram, but the presentation and taste were both underwhelming and not really the Michelin star level quality that I expected. Starter came with zero presentation and the pheasant was overcooked, the worst part was that they even left a feather on. The service was pretty good, although the staff at first gave us just the a la carte and 6-course menu, and we had to ask for the early dinner menu… finally they left a birthday card there which was pretty lovely

This lunch was really lovely. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the soup had just the right amount of spiciness. The dish recommendations were spot on. Thanks again for the great experience!

Elystan street is hands down my favourite restaurant in London and I can’t recommend it enough! The food is incredible and service is highly attentive! They have an amazing seasonal menu if you go for the early seating at 6:30 as well as incredible a la carte and 6 course tasting menu options! For special occasions they have a hand written card on your table signed by all the members of the kitchen. It is a bit on the pricier side (with the exception of the seasonal menu which is great value) but highly worth it! Atmosphere is quaint, light music with general restaurant chatter so you can have a nice conversation over dinner, the tables are also well spaced apart

A delightful Michelin restaurant. The fall pre set menu was just perfect with local ingredients. We tried the pumpkin soup, mushroom main course, cheese soufflé, plum tart. Everything was delicious, light, and amazing I gave it a second visit just a few days later. Staff were wonderful and added more to the experience.

Elystan Street is a 1 Michelin Star restaurant in the heart of Chelsea. The interior is modern and inviting. The menu has a choice of a three course set menu, à la carte or a tasting menu. The food is absolutely delicious with fresh and high quality ingredients and lots of different and punchy flavours. Complimentary bread and butter is offered, water as well. There is a large variety of wines from all over the world. The staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients.

Absolutely loved having our anniversary dinner here. Everything was perfect. As expected. - 1 of the world’s 50 best restaurants - They serve British & Modern European cuisine - 1 Michelin Star - Elegant Interiors and we had nice booth seats - Quality British ingredients, with focus on the simple ingredients but banging with flavour - who knew that simple ingredients could taste so good… - Charismatic staff & Warm hospitality - Everyone was so friendly and hospitable - Comfort food in a humble setting - From Square Meal: 1 of London’s top 100 restaurants - From Michelin Guide’s review: One MICHELIN Star: High quality cooking, worth a stop! Absolutely loved it and would definitely go back.

The restaurant is simple and beautiful with a lovely ambiance. Service was fantastic, the staff were attentive. The price fixed lunch menu 3 courses for £35 is good value. I got the rigatoni cacao e peppe, Cumberland beef salad and cheesecake. The dessert was the highlight of the meal for me. Great cocktail list too.

Had the 6 course tasting menu (£105) & am still thinking of their hand cut pasta - that was the supreme highlight of the meal, across the 3 of us at the table. The other 2 enjoyed the sea bream with daikon (not always on the menu but on there for this & next week) - I found it a tad to salty. Other highlights were the coffee creme brulee & guinea fowl (which I had in lieu of the deer, as I don't eat deer). All around great lunch, good service, nice airy & quiet ambience as well.
