Really special experience. The food was so precisely prepared without any flaws and super delicious. My favorite was the scallop course but everything was super. The alcohol free pairing was interesting and worked well. Everyone did a great job explaining each dish and each pairing. Definitely go there if you have the chance.

Immediately one of my top dining experiences in the world. The menu without any supplements was very filling, and the wine pairings complemented every dish. My favorite was their squid dish they had since the beginning of the restaurant’s history, and their canelé at the end. The chefs do a great job at explaining each dish, and every dish feels like a team effort. Definitely a must visit in London. Thank you!!!

Went with friends to the 8:30pm sitting. You are first escorted to the bar area where you have the first three snacks - the chicken skin was absolutely divine. I will never forget those delicate flavours. I also had an old-fashioned as my first drink made with rye. I can still taste it now, it was so good. The music in the bar area had me bopping earlier in the evening then nearly dancing later on. It was pure 80s pleasure. We are then escorted to the table where you can watch the chefs work with precision to prepare each course. The owners are also there talking to every guest. We had the full add-on experience plus wine pairings. When I told them I didn’t drink red wine, they found excellent alternatives for me including a glass of rose champagne. What’s so amazing about Kitchen Table is that the menu is completely different every day. This is amazing considering the precision with which they work. Every dish is a total sensory experience. And the food keeps on coming. It’s fascinating watching the chefs work whilst also chatting with your dinner companions. Each chef has a speciality, and they will each chat to you about what they’ve cooked for you. We were led back into the bar area for coffees and petit four. I know I already mentioned the music, but for me it was such a part of the atmosphere. There aren’t enough superlatives for the Kitchen Table experience. Thank you Sandia and James.

Where to begin! This is hands down our favourite restaurant in all of London, and we love Michelin-starred spots and would like to think of ourselves as proper foodies. The attention to detail from the moment you step inside is just incredible. You’re greeted by none other than Sandia Chang herself, and welcomed into the bar area with a lovely drink and some amuse-bouche to start the experience. It already feels special by then. You get the chance to chat with some of the team, get a glimpse of the menu, and start soaking in the atmosphere. I love that they’ve recently tweaked their offering a bit. There’s now a shorter and a longer menu, which is great as it opens the door for more people to try it, even if they’re not going for the full tasting experience. After around 20 to 30 minutes, you’re moved into the main dining area, the kitchen itself, surrounded by a counter table where the real magic happens. It’s like watching a symphony of chefs, all working together to serve you the most memorable dinner. You get to interact with them if you feel like it. They're incredibly warm, happy to chat and answer your questions, but also never pushy. It’s really up to you how involved you want to be, which I really appreciate. Seeing James Knappett in action alongside his brilliant team is amazing. The level of passion for food and hospitality is so obvious, it’s infectious. Both times we’ve been, our favourite dish has been the lobster, but honestly, there are so many wonderful surprises along the way. The wine pairings are fantastic, perfectly chosen by Sandia, and we even ended with a beautifully paired cider, which was such a delightful surprise. We’ve had dinner here twice now, in different seasons and years, and we still can’t stop thinking about it. Just an unforgettable place. Thank you so, so much to the whole team, we’re definitely coming back! PS: I had to pick a few photos as I had too many and don't want to ruin the surprise.

Sensational service thanks mainly to Daniel and Alex. Expected a lot, food really missed the mark. For a two star level especially. Oyster w granita nice opener, but playing it v safe. Crab pleasant but not memorable and lacked texture. Tomato - absolutely top notch 2 star dish. Has everything. That’s where the meal peaked for me. Scallop caviar supplement dish, again leveraging amazing ingredients, was good but not memorable. AbiT one note the way cucumber notes interact with the scallop. Trout - one slice of trout sashimi size was completely tasteless as was the hollandaise. Really really missed the mark. Whole dish lacked flavour and texture. Bread course which was a brioche was totally average, sub par for 2* imo. Especially when a chain in London like Aux Merveilleux de Fred casually sells a way better one. The curry like noodles dish that followed has tons of interesting flavour, but that’s all it was - it felt like scraping the bottom of a curry plate with some interesting candied notes. The noodles themselves were a mushy and lacked any taste. The agnolotti with goats curd and onion consommé. Were pleasant, safe flavour combo seen it done many places - also imo the onion doesn’t really match the rest of the dish. “Main” slice of pork with tiny sauce portions on side. Pork lacked any flavour, dish lacked texture. The tiniest quantity of food for a main course I had anywhere in recent memory. Both deserts were super solid. Fig - memorable and perfectly balanced. The lemon cake - texture wise was spot on, flavour wise ok but unmemorable. Petty fours super solid. I’m a very experienced diner would say whole experience taking 4 hours is unduly taking up diners time. I’d wait 20min for plates if they were absolutely knocking it out of the park flavour wise however on this occasion most of them were ordinary and nothing more. As an experienced diner at multi star places have to comment on quantity of food. It’s inexcusably too little, we had the 10 course menu. Left hungry. Daniel gave us 11 star service on a 10 star scale and made our night memorable. Maybe caught the resto on a night off but have to say whole menu feels like quickly put together lacking the depth of concept typically expected of the high standards and reputation set by Kitchen Table itself in the London dining scene. Happy to reconsider on another visit.

A fascinating, 5 hour, tasting experience. James Knappett, the chef-owner and the team are one of a kind. Highly skilled, energetic, with tons of knowledge. A place where you get to interact not only with stunning courses but also with the ones who make them. A warm, friendly and welcoming environment is waiting for you to experience. Professionals, extremely respectful and knowledgeable people at your service, willing to help with any questions or request. This is the best 2 Michelin Star restaurant we've been so far. See you again, Socrates

A perfect food tour, the soft drinks are amazing, the chef is a gourmet artist, he controls every ingredient very well, and the transition of the dishes is also perfect, if you have a sufficient budget, this restaurant is a very good choice

Fantastic experience. The food is great and the idea of being close to the kitchen watching the people working is amazing . I would say that two minor negative points are that the seats are very close to each other being in someway uncomfortable and difficult to have a private conversation and the wine pairing was not as great as I would imagine for a restaurant of this level. But a well deserved 2 * !

Food was very good. The dining setup is also very cool where you can watch the food being prepared. However, everything else leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Since reopening they’ve completely jacked their prices, which is acceptable enough for the food, but it’s all the other bits that are annoying. It cost £9 for an incredibly average magic rock beer (£1 in Tesco) that was old and flat. £5 for water was taking the mick when you are paying so so much for the food. It was about £85 for the soft drink pairing! There was also a mandatory 15% service charge added on to the bill. The staff were very nice but the service itself was overly formal and somewhat clunky. The bill was similar to what I paid at the fat duck, but I would argue the fat duck is superior in almost every way. It actually felt like good value for money there whereas this place certainly did not. The food itself was great and worth the high prices. It was everything else that let it down.
