   I had a deeply disappointing and unfair experience at this store. I purchased three items just before closing without trying them on. The following morning, I returned to exchange them for a more suitable size/fit. However, the staff refused my return, claiming there were makeup stains on the dresses. I can unequivocally state that these stains were not from me, as I did not wear makeup when handling the items. This accusation felt dishonest and has completely eroded my trust in this business. I cannot recommend this store and advise others to save themselves the hassle.

   Monsoon Stole £205 From Me: A Nightmare of Lies, Empty Promises, and a Fraudulent "Zero Balance" Gift Card! ! ! -Summary of a 4-Month Ordeal: After a faulty return process, Monsoon denied my refund with false claims, strung me along for months, and finally "resolved" the issue by emailing a gift card with a **£0.00 balance**. This is beyond poor service—it is deliberate, deceptive conduct. The Facts & Timeline: 1. The Return:On January 13th, 2025, I returned 3 dresses (order placed Dec 28th) via Monsoon's official Evri portal. Tracking confirms delivery to Monsoon on **January 25th, 2025**. The parcel weight logged corresponds to 3 items. 2. The Runaround:For nearly 3 months, I made over 40 phone calls , I was given false requirements (a "blue handwritten receipt"), told refunds were processed when they weren't, and given promises of calls that never came. 3. The Lie:In late March, manager Nikola suddenly claimed the parcel only contained 2 dresses—a demonstrably false statement made “weeks after Monsoon's own system confirmed receipt of the full package. 4. The Legal Threat & "Resolution": Only after I initiated a court claim did a head office manager promise a £116 gift card as resolution. After further delays, it was emailed to me. 5. The Final Insult & Fraud:Upon trying to use it, I discovered the e-gift card had a ZERO POUND BALANCE. This was not an error; it was the culmination of a calculated strategy to avoid refunding my money.

   Went to store today to purchase a dress. Whilst trying it on got in a bit of a flap as very confusing to put on. Asked assistant Sharni to assist me which bless her she did we were in a right pickle with this dress and asked assistant Le Roya to help us between two of them they sorted it and am very pleased with the dress These two girls are a credit to Monsoon thank you for your lovely attention we got there in the end!!

   I have been a long time customer of Monsoon but in the last few years the quality has really come down. This year again I bought a jumper with coller and I liked it because it is nice and warm but after wearing it within 2days all the fiber is up like it was old worn out. I paid £60 and now in the sale is £30. I will have to stop shopping at monsoon for the worst quality ever now.

   I have searched a lot of shops and this is the only place that does great party style clothes for children. After my go to place Debenhams closed I tend to shop here. I prefer seeing the items before purchasing, instead of buying blindly online. Some of the party clothes are also machine washable which is essential for me as my kids seems to ruin their clothes minutes after putting them on. Well recommend.
