   I love small, independent restaurants - in the sea of chains that is London, I feel it's important to choose to dine at establishments like this one which is chef run. Service was generally good, and there were a lot of courses which kept things interesting. However, for the amount of money spent, I felt the amount of food was bordering on stingy. The rice dish was barely two mouthfuls, and one of the courses was half a cannele. We left still hungry - not great when you've spent in the vicinity of £400 for 2. The food was good, if not particularly memorable, but it was the lack of generosity in portion sizes that made the experience particularly underwhelming for me.

   I’m not sure I can quite put into words how incredible our experience was.. but I will try! First of all if you live in London and haven’t eaten here… what are you even doing?! The experience here goes beyond the incredible food (which is truly delicious), but also the personable experience and the wonderful hosts, waitresses and the sommelier, all of who were just so lovely. The intimate setting is gorgeous and really sets the whole evening off. Not only is the selection of English wines incredible but the quality is also amazing, we had an English red that was just divine (which followed a lovely English sparkling!). The portion sizes are perfect for a tasting menu of this size and every time something came we thought it couldn’t get any more delicious, but how wrong we were. Definitely get yourselves down here for wonderful dining experience!!

   Excellent meal, the cooking champions British ingredients with some Asian influences. The tasting menu is interesting and the cookery is of a high standard. Service was generally very good, attentive and relaxed. Did it inspire me to return over other options? I'm not sure, but if I ended up here I would certainly not be disappointed.

   Wow what an incredible restaurant. One of the best taster menu experiences we have every had. Showcases seasonal British produce with an Asian twist. Huge selection of English wine. Wonderful staff. Could not fault anything. Thanks to all the team for making it such a memorable night.

   One of the top 10 best meals of my entire life! Truly outstanding on every level, and an astonishing showcase of high-end British produce, cooking and creativity. The food was at least on the level of The Fat Duck or Gordon Ramsay at Royal Hospital Road, possibly even surpassing them. We loved how relaxed it was too, so the whole evening was a true joy from start to finish. Our waiters - Benjamin and Maggie - we’re both charming, friendly and very knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to meet Sven the chef and watch while his kitchen team quietly assembled edible works of art for us. It’s an intimate space with only 6 tables and a Michelin star is only a matter of time so best get in there now! Every dish was a delight but the standouts were the lamb, the sea bass, the yuzu sorbet and some of the snacks to start with like the red mullet and the nettle with cheese. Never thought I’d enjoy eating nettle so much!
