   If you’re looking for a true South African dining experience then this is the place to go. The entire menu is a true reflection of SA food and everything we ordered was 10/10. A special mention for the monkeygland sauce - it tasted exactly (maybe even better) like how it is back in SA

   If I'd known this place was 5 minutes from my work I'd have been here more often! Amazing menu of SA food. They even have a Biltong trolley. There's a cheese and wine room too, what more could you want? I had the best Ostrich steak I've ever had, some nice boerrie, pap bread, steak, and Brannas and coke pork belly. I'm definitely coming here for my birthday in Jan. Will lift the winter blues.

The staff are knowledgeable, particularly about the wine pairings, and their enthusiasm adds to the overall joyous dining experience. Our waiter, Halil, was a highlight of the evening. His enthusiasm was infectious, his recommendations were spot-on, and he ensured our table was perfectly looked after with genuine care and efficiency. His excellent service truly added to the overall joyous dining experience. Vivat Bacchus is a must-visit for any food lover in London.

   Wow, what an amazing place and service. Love the fact that they have a cloakroom at the entrance, that's what i call a proper restaurant. Staff are super friendly and the service is just amazing. Only popped in for a drink with colleagues, but we enjoyed every second. Atmosphere is so cosy, and nice, definitely would be coming back again.

   We booked a last minute table for dinner and I'm so glad we did. We ended up having 3 courses and a bottle of wine. My partner had the cheese for his desert and he was really pleased with the cheese room to pick from a variety. The food was delicious and the service was excellent especially as it was a very busy service. The waiter even asked if we would like to move to a different table as it was loud because of a birthday party which we opted for. We had the house wine and it was really nice. I would recommend and would return

   Really great place for steak and wine. We ordered from their 3 course set menu and the meal was perfect. I started with the burrata, followed by a delicious steak and finished with the cheese platter. All went down well with their red wines. Lovely staff and atmosphere too!

   Lovely group dinner at Vivat Bacchus in Farringdon. Fortunate to have one of the private dining rooms, which was lovely and perfect for our group of 18. Food and service were both excellent, with wine flowing as needed. Big shout out to Anna for looking after us, and thanks also to Ryan for help with booking. Hoping to come back, both to experience dining with friends and to have more corporate events!
