My daughter and I ate here as a gift experience for the set menu and from start to finish we had a really enjoyable evening. On arrival we were given a choice of seats and sat with views of the river. The service was really good and in no time we had ordered our drinks and meal. The food was amazing and full of flavour. The batter was crispy, the tartare sauce incredible, the soup has made me want to try and make it, the chips were perfectly seasoned, the steak melted in the mouth and the pistachio ice cream was to die for. The staff here went above and beyond to help make my daughter's birthday special as well as give us special memories. We will definitely be returning when we can.

Our experience was great. We relaxed in the welcoming bar on arrival then shown through to the restaurant. We had a choice of seating & chose to sit in a comfortable booth. The menu is quite varied & we chose the Pork Ribs & Cod with sides, bread & a bottle of red. The service in the bar & restaurant was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost given the quality & service & wish it was our local.

We have visited this venue several times in the past years, as we live nearby and enjoy exploring local dining options. Unfortunately, as on previous occasions, the experience did not meet expectations. We initially planned to try the Sunday lunch offering, but were informed that food could not be served on the terrace, only indoors. Disappointed, we went to our usual lunch spot instead and returned later for drinks and dessert, as I was considering bringing visiting friends from Australia here the following week as part of a riverside walk. We ordered two drinks and two desserts. While the drinks were satisfactory, the desserts were overly sweet, looked unimpressive, not unlike the menu, and were significantly overpriced at Β£9 and Β£10 each, plus service. The desserts resembled something one might expect at a local East End pubβcertainly not the level of quality I anticipated from a Gordon Ramsay establishment. Service, which has consistently been underwhelming over the years, was again disappointing. Staff appeared disengaged, unfriendly, and unaccommodating. Upon seating ourselves outside, no one approached to greet us or provide menus, so I had to go inside to request them myself. The waiter then appeared to take our order without asking whether we were ready or offering any guidance or recommendations, missing a basic opportunity for hospitality. Despite it being late lunchtime on a Sunday, the venue was surprisingly quiet, with only a few occupied tables both inside and outside. In hindsight, I regretted not choosing a different location for dessert. In spite of all this, did end up bringing my friends for a drink the following week, hoping for a better experience. However, the service remained equally inattentive and unwelcoming, and we left after just one round of drinks. There is an undeniable sense that something is lacking here, from both the service culture and overall atmosphere. It's disappointing, particularly given the restaurant's potential and prime riverside location. Its a pity. I am not planning on being back anytime soon...

Always a pleasure to dine at our local Bread street restaurant. The food is top quality, love their steaks and roasted cod. There is a wide variety of fancy drinks at the bar. The staff is very welcoming and professional, special thanks to Alison and Chiara for the best service. I can highly recommend this place and I will definitely come back soon.

Found Bread Street Kitchen & Bar (Limehouse) through a YouTube video and had to try the Beef Wellington. It was rich, filling, and worth every penny. We shared the meatballs (moist and flavorful), a fresh side salad with pomegranate seeds, and the Wellington for two. Service was great. Just note it takes about 45β50 minutes to prepareβbut totally worth the wait.

Renovated and improved from the βNarrowβ.. Location is great! Ideal for a nice meal by the river. Staff are nice and the cocktails are great. Food is good in general, but not something exceptional. Unfortunately not worth the price. Good Sunday Roast. I would go back!

Lovely restaurant in a beautiful location right on the river. We went on a lovely sunny day so made the views all that more amazing. I had padron peppers to start (shared), a chicken Caesar salad for main which was delicious and very generous portion & the chocolate brownie for desert which was absolutely lovely. I wasn't drinking but the other people I was with had the lady narrow cocktail as recommended by the waiter and said they were absolutely delicious as well. The staff were very attentive and welcoming and overall was a lovely lunch that I highly recommend and will be back again. The only negative I have is that quite a few bits on the menu weren't available which happened to be the things I wanted so originally wanted the olives to start but didn't have any or the spiced nuts, no Coke zero (was on the menu) & no sticky toffee pudding so that was a bit disappointing but everything we did have was lovely

The service was absolutely great! We discovered the restaurant on our walk and wanted to come back an hour later for dinner. Patrick was so welcoming and nice, he personally made sure we had good seat. The entire staff were also very attentive and friendly. The appetizers were awesome. The tuna tartare was so delicious and the Caesar salad was executed well. But unfortunately the main dishes werenβt as good as the appetizers. We were a bit disappointed as they lack flavor and were a bit simple for pricing. But we would love to go back to try more appetizers and for the excellent service.

Where to start. The tuna tartar was the best part, I can't complain. In fact, it was very high quality. But the wine glasses, to start, were dirty and set the tone. I was unimpressed with the quality of the rest of the food. I had the cod, which was a solid 7, but the mashed potatoes that came with it were underwhelming and flavorless. My partner had the butter chicken, it was just OK, but the rice that came with it was inedible. And the Mac and cheese lacked in flavor and salt. Very disappointed that I paid over 100 pounds for such lackluster food. Considering we've eaten at many Gordon Ramsey locations, this was the first time I've felt the need to write a poor review.

The service of the waitstaff was terrific! They were well trained and happy to please and oblige in taking our pictures. They didn't hurry us to leave even if we were the last persons in the dining room. We love the river view and the experience. I especially love the grapefruit martini. I wasn't thrilled about one of the appetizers. We were surprised though that they did not give free bread considering that this is a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and so, not a cheap one. (And by the way, the paid bread wasn't spectacular, lol!) But overall, this was a great experience (November 2021), and did not disappoint!
