We recently dined at Champagne Route and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The service was beyond excellent - every detail was taken care of with genuine attention and professionalism. The food was truly exceptional. Weβve travelled the world and tasted countless dishes, but the steak fillet here was honestly one of the best weβve ever had -cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavour. The wine experience was equally impressive - perfectly matched selections that really elevated the meal. An unforgettable evening overall. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates great food, outstanding service, and a real passion for wine.
This is a great place, located in the center, near Tower Bridge. I recommend it to anyone who likes peace, aesthetics, a beautiful and cozy environment with sincere service. The food is aesthetically beautiful and delicately delicious. A large selection of wines. I had to buy a bottle of excellent white wine at a reasonable price, which you won't find anywhere else. My friend and I spent a great Sunday afternoon, enjoying light snacks and desserts.
Great food, every dish taste and presentation is on point. Menu is a mix of everything- a bit of Asian, a bit European, British classics, amazing wine selection! Very personable service!
We had a wonderful evening at Champagne Route, great menu, warm atmosphere and a vast wine list. The duck liver parfait starter was delightful, and steak tartare was beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and very tasty. The duck breast main was expertly cooked, and so very tasty. And the Chicken Kiev was fantastic, juicy and rich. All the dishes were flavoursome, generous and all at a very reasonable price. The rest of the menu looked great in fact so weβll have to come back again to experience a few more!
Another great evening at Champagne Route bar. Had some fine Champagnes and a drop of rum too. The duck pate with sweet, glazed onions is tops (generous portions always), I'm going to have to highlight my favourite dish there which is the burger and fries!
I went with a friend last night to Champagne Route and we had the most lovely time. The staff was friendly and attentive, the restaurant has great ambiance, cosy but sophisticated. We shared the Bruschetta with parma ham and tomato garlic sauce to start, which was delicious, I particularly loved the sauce that had a mousse like texture and the careful presentation of our meal. For my main I had the Confit Chicken, mushroom ballotine, pan fried kale, red wine sauce garnished with pomegranate - which was cooked to perfect tenderness. My friend has the Gruyere and asparagus tartlet with mixeld leaf salad, which I didn't have a chance to try but was told was delicious! We matched our food to the house wine, both perfectly lovely. All in all we enjoyed the atmosphere and food and look forward to coming for food again!
We went to champagne route for New Yearβs Eve, a group of 12 of us. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. We booked through design my night. I made a mistake of not asking about vegetarian options ahead of our booking but they were very accommodating and the veggie option was excellent! Everyone in my group loved the food. Each dish was made to the finest detail! Highly recommend Champagne Route. I wish I had taken pictures of the food but honestly we all ate so quickly because it was so delicious! They have indoor and outdoor seating, and beautiful wine bottles on display on several walls of the restaurant, along with a full bar.
I love this place! Definitely a great brunch spot with a good selection of savoury or sweet brunch options and a great selection of champagne for your mimosa β¨ the owner and staff are very friendly and provide great service. Thank you so much for a lovely experience! A must try if you are near Wapping or St Katherineβs Docks
