A great selection of beers, local and nation wide. Only a small place but nice and cosy. It can get very busy at times but you never can tell, right in the centre of poynton.

Had a fantastic time at the Flute & Firkin today! Abbie provides an outstanding service—they’re friendly and attentive, and caring enough to make sure everyone has a great time. Enjoyed a J2O, but their selection of alcoholic and soft drinks is impressive too. The atmosphere was brilliant, with the live music adding a warm and lively experience. Friendly, lively atmosphere. Pleasant layout. Good selection of ales and pleased to see that there was a stout which was excellent. Not much room downstairs but more room upstairs.
Great bar, very reasonable, lovely atmosphere, I hired the upstairs room and Rachel couldn’t have been more helpful! Thank you would 100% recommend for a few drinks or to hire.

Nice little Bar with local Beer, great Staff, really nice sat outside as its on the right side of the Village that gets the Sun...
Lovely little pub in the heart of Poynton. Good seating area out the front and a covered, well-ventilated area at the back. Good range of beers (weihenstephan my personal favourite) and wine. Cheerful staff, helpful and accommodating. Toilets are always clean. Glad to see it survived lockdown!!
