   Had a disappointing experience eating at St Leonard's for a few issues including: Booked table for 4 for 8pm and we weren't seated until 8.45pm nor were we told there was a delay until 10mins before we were seated; We were told our jackets would be put in the cloakroom but 40 minutes later I went to the loo and saw they were still lying on a chair by the bar, with our car keys in the pockets; We were overcharged by 3 items on the final bill. I responded to the email feedback request form and never received a response. Food was nice but the rest of the experience was a let down.

   We enjoyed a private dining Sunday roast and it truly made for a memorable afternoon. The room was beautifully presented and created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. While the service was a little slow at times, it was clear the team was working hard in a very busy setting, and everyone was incredibly polite and attentive. The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, and overall, I would highly recommend this place for a special dining experience.

   The private dining experience for a 70th birthday at St Leonard’s was fabulous! The food was delicious and service excellent. The elegant dining room was a perfect way to celebrate with family and contain a roaming toddler! It was so refreshing to have a children’s menu with good quality freshly prepared food on offer - no chicken nuggets here!! Thank you to Terry and his team for being so attentive and making the occasion feel exclusive and special.

   Yesterday we hosted a special birthday lunch at St Leonard’s, and what an absolutely wonderful occasion their team made it for us! They allowed us private use of the restaurant for 26 people, accommodated all our requests, and Executive Chef Tom put together a fantastic menu for us. The service was impeccable and the food absolutely delicious (the beef cheek deserves a special mention!). Feedback from our guests has been amazing. Big thanks to front of house team of Antim, Lolly and Harley under the watchful eye of Terry, and to the kitchen team of Head Chef Marcus along with Dave, Jack and Ethan. We honestly can’t recommend St Leonard's highly enough; you are all stars and we thank you for making it such a very special day.

   My wife and I visited St Leonard's for the first time, for Saturday brunch (30th August). We were warmly greeted by Terry (?) and from there on it, the whole experience was fantastic. Annabel (?) made sure we were always happy with everything and we absolutely were. Good menu, fair price, presented impressively (both the food and interior), it's a venue we intend to visit regularly and we highly recommend it. Great ambience - chilled. Background music suited the time of day and was not overpowering, either. You can see the huge amount of effort this business puts into their offering. Lovely!

   This was an amazing hotel doing amazing food. I had an awesome weekend away. The room was well decorated, clean, and absolutely amazing. The quality of the food blew me away. The only downside of this amazing hotel and restaurant is no parking. Because I was only there 1 night, I could park in the village centre (5 mins walk), but any longer would require moving car. It would be worth it and I am returning

   Cant fault this place! Was absolutely spotless. Bed and pillows very comfy, breakfast was delicious and the owner and the staff were so lovely and obviously enjoy each others company as there was lots of laughter going on, which was such a pleasure to hear. Definitely going back! Only downside if I HAVE to find one, is parking is a challenge!

   A delightful stay in St Leonards, started with a warm welcome check in. The room tastefully decorated had everything you needed, with additional touches of cookies and amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the morning breakfast deliciously tasty. Would recommend and look forward to returning.

   We’ve visited St Leonard’s for lunch and dinner on numerous occasions and they never disappoint! The food is glorious, the cocktails are very special and the service is second to none. We’ve also stayed in the rooms above a few times, they are excellent value for money, very modern, clean and we’d always choose St Leonard’s if we were in the area. We’ll definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family. Terry and his team have it spot on x

   Had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant finished with the most delicious Chocolate and Hazelnut Martini!! Thankfully only had to stumble up the stairs to bed as we were staying in the Carla room. A very comfortable stay. Decor throughout hotel and restaurant is superb. Great shower in the room too. Staff were brilliant and very friendly. Especially the owner/manager/front of house/barman (sorry not quite sure and didn’t get his name) but he was super lovely and welcoming. Will definitely be back. Thank you!
