   Love the decor and vibe in the Rose & Monkey. Ambience is just right as can’t stand brightly lit pubs. Always great music playing in the background. Handy for both Northern Quarter and Ancoats.

   Almost walked past this place after trying to find somewhere to drink near our hotel (AC hotel by Marriott). Looking at some other reviews they had issues with getting in.. I have to say this was not the case for us, and at one point left and came back with no issues. Really good atmosphere, getting us up and dancing. It’s a quirky little place, and definitely the reason for a few sore heads this morning!

   This is my favorite pub in Manchester to visit because it has everything, great music but quiet if you want it to be outside , mid range cost to even pretty cheap with spirits . the pub quiz is really fun as well if you're so inclined

   Great pub. Can be a bit hit and miss getting in if it's late or if you're a group of lads. Be nice if they had better gluten free options. Staff always lovely. Music choices great.

   Ended up in here randomly and had a great night. I would give the pub itself 4 stars but I'm giving 5 for the overall experience, as I met an extremely attractive Swiss man called Marco here. I'm now regretting not giving him my number, so, Marco, if you're reading this, here I am!
