   So very sad that this Lebanese favourite is going down on quality. This was our favourite shawarma place, but last week found uncooked raw chicken in the shawarma. I don’t think I will be able to return back to this place now.

   Al Arez in Knightsbridge has genuinely been like a second home for us for well over 15 years. I’ve been coming here since I was a young teenager, and now in 2025, I can 100% say it’s still the best Lebanese food in London! What really makes it special is the warmth and hospitality, especially from Hassan, who’s basically family to us now. He’s always there with a smile, treating us with such kindness and making sure we have the best time. The recent refurbishment has made the place even more inviting, and the food is as delicious as ever. If you want top-notch Lebanese cuisine and a place where you’re treated like family, Al Arez is the place to go!

   The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the service was amazing. Everything was very authentic and arrived quickly. The restaurant itself is elegant and, although it was full when we arrived, we were seated right away. The staff was so kind and welcoming. Our first trip to London we had to go see Harrods so we were actually just walking toward Harrods and stopped here randomly, what a lucky find! The food was fantastic. The atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve stepped into Lebanon, and you can imagine the beauty of Middle Eastern culture all in one place and one taste. The menu has a wide range of traditional dishes, all prepared with so much care. It honestly feels like you're being fed at home. The hummus, the freshly baked bread, and the perfect combination of flavors were just... wow. The staff truly go above and beyond. They’re warm, attentive, and make the whole experience even better. This place is a true gem. I highly, highly recommend it!

   Best Lebanese food in London! The food was served really quick and the waiters explained everything that was available really well. The tables were clean and there is plenty of seating space available upstairs where it was warm and tidy. Starters and mains came really quick and everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fresh. Mohammed, Hadi and Rezk all looked after me and my friends and provided amazing service. I will definitely come here again as they also serve shisha!

   Wonderful meal and portions. Traditional Lebanese dishes were the bright spot to our trip to London. We haven’t had a decent meal until we randomly chose this place since it’s such a short walk from Harrod’s. The nicest gentleman servers and big smiles really help brighten our mood, but the food was our highlight. Highly recommend if you like healthy and hearty comfort food for the family. And get the Lebanese coffee if you like to grow hair on your chest, wow. Cheers

   One of the best shawarmas I've tasted. Buy the regular shawarma for snacks or the big one for a full meal. It seems pricey but the servings are big. You can share the mixed grill with a friend. I bought the big shawarma and my friend bought the mixed grill. We were really full after eating. The hot sauce and garlic paste were also delicious.

   We ordered 5 lamb shawarma wraps with chili and garlic sauce for takeway today and said we will wait outside as the restaurant was very busy. The staff who served us at the till confirmed that we wanted lamb shawarma wraps with garlic and chili sauce inside along with all the usual veg then we waited outside. Another staff member came outside and gave us a bag full of 5 wraps really quickly and rushed back in without confirming that it was the right order. The guy was in such a rush that the bag almost fell in the handover process. When we got home we realised they were all chicken shawarma wraps with no veg and hardly any garlic or chili sauce. Disappointed.
