Have been here once before and partner is a big fan and so I went again. Previously the food was authentic and great tasting. This time around the food really poor. Evening thing felt deep fried straight from the freezer. Prawn tacos were inedible so were sent back. It felt like 2 frozen Iceland prawn in pastry bites were placed on some lettuce in a store bought mini tortilla. Duck was fine... But had a very sweet plum sauc. Cod was pretty good but can't with mushy peas in the taco. No Spice on anything including no chilli side sauce. Service efficient but not very friendly. A real shame overall as we want local places to succeed but this is going to struggle if the food remains this bad.

We had the most amazing time at Cheeky Chicos, we organised my friends hen do and we had 35 people in their private back room! It was incredible, they went above and beyond to help make it a special event and I cannot recommend them high enough! The food was incredible and the drinks were delicious, it was all very reasonable price wise too - everybody said it was amazing quality and value! I searched lots of places in London, but everybody wanted to charge ridiculous prices for a private room! It was a really memorable day and we will definitely be back!

Really disappointing food. Taco comes with barely any meat inside, just filled with salad at £13+ each is a bit of a joke. We got 4 portions of tacos which was about enough for 2 people. We also got padron peppers as a starter and they were not great. Duck taco tasted good but such little meat inside. The salmon taco was really flaky and dry, as if they had microwaved the salmon after it had already been cooked or something. It had a fishy taste, didn’t seem fresh. The prawn taco was very very oily and was dripping oil on the plate, it made me feel quite sickly. Also only had 2 little prawns on top and the rest was salad. The staff cleared my boyfriends plate while I was still eating, and then put the desert menu in front of him while I was still eating my taco. Even though he didn’t even ask for the dessert menu yet. We were there at around 6pm, and the staff that greeted us at the door seemed to be really pressed about where we could sit. There were only 3 small tables inside taken and it had so many tables of 2 free. I really didn’t see what the big fuss was about and was confused, it seemed a bit funny when all the tables around us were empty. He said he would need the table back which was very rude since the restaurant was almost empty??? What a way to greet a customer… Overall underwhelming, disappointing and won’t be coming back… would not recommend!

We came to cheeky chicos for a premeal drinks and to sample the nachos. It is located 10 minutes from Clapham junction station and the restaurant had a great atmosphere and the service was friendly and quick. Our group ordered beers and Margaritas - the nachos were tasty we had the veggie and chicken loads ones and enjoyed both. The only negative was we felt that it was quite expensive. For 2 drinks (i had 2 beers) and a share of nachos was around 20 quid per a person! Would like to come back and try the rest of the food.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in London! One of the best I’ve been worldwide Their tacos are amazing, especially the ones with beef. Very soft, it’s like it’s coming apart in your mouth. Starters are amazing. Their corn, even better. The ambience it’s beautiful, very nice decor. It has character to it. Tips: ask for their amazing homemade lemonade

Very tasty food/ flavours. Pineapple salsa was a great compliment to my pulled pork tacos. Churros (with chocolate in the middle) we’re out of this world. Best I’ve ever had. Will return again. Thanks for the service. X

This is a quirky little spot in Clapham with good energy for a dinner with friends. We arrived and were seated promptly. Every table was full so I think a reservation was likely necessary. We got nachos, tuna ceviche, mini chorizo, beans, halloumi, and pico de gallo with chips as a starter. All the starters were generous portions, all which could be shared between 2 people. The starters were the star of the meal. For our mains we got chicken tinga tacos, pulled pork tacos and cod tacos which come with two tacos. These were very large and definitely enough to fill us up. There were mixed thoughts across the table on the tacos. The pulled pork tacos were praised, and the chicken were nice too. The cod tasted like good quality but could have used a lot more seasoning and the slaw was dry. Not the best fish tacos I’ve had. Unfortunately, after our initial drinks and food order, none of the servers came up to us again so we weren’t able to order any more drinks. The table was cleared whilst I was still eating which was a bit bizarre. We had to find a server to order dessert, churros. The churros were tasty but undercooked and still doughy on the inside. Overall, it was busy and had good energy, and the staff was very friendly, albeit not as attentive. Good experience, but with all the great Mexican around I might not rush back.

Great vibe and cosy little place. Really enjoyable cocktails and great tacos! What is more to ask!? The staff was super friendly as well! Lovely Italian waitress and the bartender were both very friendly and provided an excellent service! Would recommend anyone if you are looking for some spicy food and good cocktails!
