The ambience is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The food is not only affordable but of great quality as well. I indulged in their apple strudel, and it was simply delicious! The flavours were perfectly balanced, and it was a delightful treat. What truly sets this cafe apart is the owner. He’s not just another face behind the counter; he is genuinely friendly and loves to engage with his customers. It’s refreshing to have someone who takes the time to get to know you and ensure you have a great experience. “Went there for my wife's birthday dinner and we were so happy with tasty food and excellent service. Drinks from the bar took a while to prepare so eventually we ordered different drinks but other than that everything went well. Happy wife and kids.”

“Me and the missus have been twice here with the kids already. Döner is my thing and boy do they know how to prepare those! “Really happy with the way my daighter Isabelle developed in all aspects. She made friends, she loves her teachers. The reception and management is also great, responsive and they don t put money first but the child wellbeing. Adapting easily to child needs and always provide a daily report. Very transparent and professional. Food is also great, many healthy and diverse choices, also i love the fact there are many events, we as parents take part too ( stay and play, macmillan breakfast etc) . Thank you team”

“Absolutely wonderful service from Dog in Black for a number of years now. My Labrador Ted has been walked by them 3-4 times a week for at the last two-three years. The carers over that time have always been fantastic, very communicative and clearly experienced and dog lovers in general. For anyone interested in more of the details, for the standing arrangements where your pup is walked 3-4 times a week on similar/the same days they aim to have the same carer do all of their walks. Its a great setup which means that my dog builds a great relationship/bond with the walkers. Special shoutout to Becky, Alana, Louise and Madika who have all at various times been Teds primary walker and have always done an amazing job. They send you lovely updates after the walk every day, and when you're having a bad day in the office its always nice to get a few pictures/videos of your dog out there living his best life. They have always been very flexible and quick to respond on the administrative side and I really have nothing but good things to say about them. Thanks to all of the team and I look forward to many more years of one seriously happy and tired Labrador when I get in from the office.”

“Came in with my boyfriend ordered 2 patties for a quick munch. I am usually intimidated by Caribbean restaurants as customer service isn’t always great. But the lady and the man in the shop running the place were so welcoming and polite and lovely and made us feel comfortable. The patties were gorgeous and hot and decently priced. Will only come here from now and can’t wait to try other food. Thank you ! X”

“It’s a lovely place and very easy to locate. The cod fish was yummy, very big and the chips was massive. It’s a crispy fish and chips. The guy that served us is a very friendly person and give’s good customer service. It’s a clean and decent place. Their spicy wings and chicken side breasts are amazing. “A really lovely pub. We like to eat inside and love the decor. Staff are super friendly and service excellent. (Server was Cello; last time we came it was Poppy- both lovely as was everyone else.) Four of us are vegetarian and chose very nice dishes (carrot soup; hummus dish; pimientos de Padrón; veggie wellington; goats cheese salad; fish and chips. We also love the soda bread.) “This place is a hidden gem and so glad to have been introduced to it. The management team - Cedric & Pippa - have really done an amazing job with this place. The vibe is on point, drinks are spectacular and food is incredible - freshly made and restaurant level, particularly with their specials. Cannot recommend more highly and glad to be a new regular!”

“I have been to this pub a few times.since the new manager took over (i think he has been managing for around 8 months now). They are a very friendly community based team. Today for example a lady in a wheel chair was outside and asked me.to let.thr staff kmow she needed help. Thr manager immediately let.me tell him even though he was really busy. Came out straight away and mads the lady feel special and supported. He even tried to find a comfy seat available for her and one that was not high. When I have been here before the manager was again very chatty and explained he wamts customers.tk feel special and valued. He certainly has achieved this. The ither staff also are friendly and always approachable. You will be served here quickly as they make customers a priority.the food is amazing too.”

“I was referred to Medivet Kensington when my current 22 year old cat Frankie when was in heart failure. Not only did they save Frankie that day – he remains thriving under Vet Tom Roberts care. Tom is an outstanding Vet, combining expertise with genuine care for your pet. Frankie's medications are easily managed, minimising stress from frequent reviews for his fragile heart. The focus on his overall well-being significantly enhances his care. Tom goes above and beyond which is much appreciated by both Frankie and myself. Recently my 4-year-old dog had orthopeadic surgery for a luxating patella and was under the care of the amazing Surgeon Vishaal Corpaul (VK). Six months post-op, she’s back to bouncing around like a puppy. The surgery was a huge success and the whole experience was stress-free thanks to an excellent Surgeon, consistent post-op care, and dedicated Vet support during recovery. I cannot thank Dr VK enough. There remains consistency in the staff, rather than a frequent rotation of temporary Vets. I regularly see the same Vet, and they are familiar with my pets, which helps foster good relationships, with both us humans and animals – which is a huge bonus. Thanks also to the wonderful Vet Nurses here and friendly helpful Receptionists. As a Vet customer who has been involved in animal rescue for many years and been to numerous Vet Practices all over London - I wanted to review this exceptional practice to reassure pet owners seeking quality care. Really excited to see the newly refurbished practice soon with dedicated seperate areas for the cats.”

It was a great experience from the moment we walked through the door.The food was AMAZING, great taste, flavour, presentation. “We had to make an emergency appointment after one of our dogs trod on a hornet. It was immediately clear he had a nasty reaction. We were so thankful that we were fitted in to see Sam. She was so good with our nervous rescue dog. He was clearly distressed and in pain, but Sam's gentle and patient approach allowed her to examine him comprehensively. She gave clear guidance about the treatment plan, and we were clear about what to keep under observation over the next few days. Our dog recovered, during the timescale Sam predicted.”

Vivi (possibly Bibi) was an outstanding waitress, even though the restaurant was quite busy, she went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. She was consistently quick, attentive, and kind, and her warm attitude really stood out. It’s amazing how much of a positive impact great staff can have on the entire dining experience, and Vivi truly made ours special.”

This was a fantastic Wetherspoons, admittedly the wait for food was a little longer than I’m used to at Wetherspoons locations but otherwise this was an amazing experience. High quality tasty food, lovely atmosphere and the friendliest staff I think I’ve ever encountered in any pub. Absolutely recommended!”
