   This was our 4th outing for our monthly guys Dinner Club. We came on a Monday evening so was fairly quiet with only a couple of other tables occupied. We arrived at 6:30 but didnt get our orders until just before 8pm which we felt was a bit long. A heads up from the otherwise very friendly waiter would have been welcome if the wait for food was going to be a while. There was only 5 of us and we all went for the sharing platter so would have thought all having the same would make the prep easier. However, despite the long wait, the food was excellent and I would wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant to anyone that likes Mexican food. Plenty of parking out back too. I'd certainly go back and if the wait time was reduced I'd edit my review up to 5 stars for sure.

   What a gem! The food was superb and met our expectations. The service was also excellent, with really attentive staff. Definitely intend to return and try some of the other options. If you are a fan of mexican food, you will not be disappointed.

   Mexican Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants and I always make a point to go when I visit my friends in Essex. The staff are lovely, the food is exceptional, and the cocktails are delicious. I had the cactus tacos (so good!) and black bean chilli enchilada and loved both, as well as a tequila Manhatten. My friend had a jalapeno margarita which was fab. Two small points of feedback - would be great to have vegan cheese as an option on the menu (I always bring some), and it'd be awesome to have a highchair available for parents with young children. Otherwise perfect!

   Just finished dinner here and felt so compelled to write a review as it was absolutely delicious! Excellent food & drinks, and friendly service. Highly authentic. The service was on the slower side, but you could tell all the food was very fresh.

   Shared nachos and a sharing selection. Absolutely amazing. The pible was so flavourful, the chicken taco was out of this world and the peach and orange mocktail was so refreshing. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was great from table near the bar, ( no criticism, I was very thankful to be seated away from the main area with lots of people.) From the outside it was so quiet but as you opened the door it was full of people happily eating. Not a drinker but a great selection of tequila and the cocktails looked amazing. Took our churros home as we were comfortably full, ate them later and they were still perfectly crisp on the outside with a nice chewy center. The dark chocolate and chilli dip was lovely, not overly hot but enough to add depth of flavour to the sauce.will definitely return with family

   Lovely little place in the outskirts of Wickford,friendly staff, delicious food. If you don't like spicy food the are happy to turn down the heat.
