Waited over 2 hours for a delivery then they put the phone down when we kept calling £45 paid to them and service is crap won’t be using them again we used to have regular takeaways but they won’t have our custom anymore
As my daughter being a picky eater and struggling with textures and taste this is now the only chinese she will eat! After our local one shut up shop, we struggled for years to find one that she actually enjoyed, wongs is now our new local and favourite place to order from! The lady that works always listens to our requests and is brilliant and the chef makes excellent food! The delivery time is exceptionally quick, on a friday night we got it within 15 minutes of ordering!
I have used wongs for a number of years and have always been satisfied with the food. They are not keen on people, like me, who use cards rather than cash. Last night, when I said, paying by card, the woman serving me on the phone started shouting and screaming at me as she wanted cash. I will never use them again.
Very nice Chinese. Food was ready within ten minutes and absolutely delicious. Have been on the look out for a good Chinese and have finally found one. Excellent ribs, noodles and chicken everyone enjoyed!
My partner ate here last week and said he really enjoyed it. We have just moved to the area and are in the look out for a nice Chinese. My partner ordered over the phone and I went to pick up the food. The lady was nice and smiley and the food was ready for collection. The food looked fresh and clean. The seaweed was seasoned a bit too much. Was very salty. The crispy chilli beef was good, smoked shredded chicken was nice and the rice was just rice. Sweet and sour HK style tasted a bit different and I didn’t enjoy this dish very much. The sauce was a bit runny. My overall experience has been good. I was a bit surprised to see the food safety rating to be 3 Generally Satisfactory, and if I had known this before, I probably wouldn’t have ordered from here. Overall the food was okay, nothing disgusting but nothing mind blowing.
Had a few meals from here before and they have been ok.Not this time gotta be the worst chinese I've ever had and most of it landed in the bin will not be going back chicken tasted funny so threw it away incase it was off
Ordered food tonight costing £46 that never arrived, phone to ask where it was as app said out for delivery. Woman who answered was unbelievable in her response saying We've already had it and no matter how we answered kept saying the same thing, even spoke to the delivery driver who again blatantly lied to me on the phone saying a woman answered the door which I know to be complete rubbish, I guess someone had a free meal but I'll never buy from there again and I'll be wanting my money back from Just eat. Verdict on Wongs, rude and ignorant.
Rude and disgusting behaviour. I have ordered from there many times and never had a problem. This time I have made an order through just eat and I have waiting 1 hour and a half, I called them and the lady was shouting at me telling me that it's been delivered and 'driver is back already" she put the driver on the phone and he said 'I delievered' I have a ring doorbell and no one has knocked on the door. The woman is rude and clearly doesn't know customer service. Never will order again , summer china in the manor is much better:)
Wow the little Chinese woman behind counter is so rude. Ask to change 1 dish on set menu for two witch is never a problem she shouted and stormed of in to kitchen also rude to another customer who simply asked how long food was going to be and she started shaking her head in anger and raised her eyes. Why do we bother giving this rude culture our money. Never again.
Estimate delivery time 8.58 that was already 1hr waiting time, order at 7.56 and turned up at 9 26, a long time to wait. I found the chicken wasn't as great as it usually is, was more on the ropey side. Apologies for the poor review as never had a bad service from here.
