   Ordered tonight, absolutely disgusting cold and dry. Nothing like iv Ordered before with local Chinese in the, thought I would give this place a chance due to recommendations boy I was wrong, even the prawn crackers were stale amd food was 40 mins late. What a waste of money. My money will be well spent else where next time. I will be demanding a refund.

   Absolutely terrible. Ordered via Uber eats. Said it would take 30 mins. After 45 mins I had to call to get an update and I was told it was on its way and would take another 25 minutes. I told them to cancel my order but they refused. Then they wouldn’t pick the phone up when Uber eats called them. After 90 mins I never received my food. The person on the phone was not helpful at all, didn’t take any responsibility. He even had the cheek to say it was 30 mins cooking time, when that’s never the case with Uber eats. Never order from this place, you will be waiting for ages

   I order from Uber eats. Quality of the food is absolutely atrocious! Disgusting they don’t even season fried rice. This restaurant provides its own delivery, the app said would be delivered in 45 minutes which at peak time was reasonable but in reality it took over two hours. I had to call the restaurant for them to remember my order as they didn’t know who I was. Please don’t order from this restaurant. I spent £18 on rice, beef dish and prawn crackers. The best bit of the meal was prawn crackers and that says a lot because crackers are so easy to make.

   Don’t order from Shanghai express ! Tasteless, messed up order, over priced and dry chicken. There located in burger max which is also a nasty takeaway. Feel nauseous after eating food from them :(

   Absolutely disgusting food. Overpriced, and not Chinese food at all. The crispy squid is just really greasy calamari and the prawn toast taste like old oil and Is also greasy. Ordered 'fried noodles' and they were not fried. Also ordered duck noodles and I couldn't even try the duck as it looks undercooked and has a horrible tasting sauce all over it. Unfortunately, I only realised this place was in Burger Max (also a terrible place) after I placed this order. Save your money and do not order from here. We couldn't not eat any of it. I don't know how these people are still in business. Reminds of a Kitchen Nightmare episode.
