   Ordered via UberEats where it has a good rating. Absolutely the worst take away I have ever ordered. Flavourless and stale, as well as extremely late to arrive. I have disputed this with UberEats who are refusing to refund me for food I had to bin it was that bad. I’d recommend avoiding at all costs.

   I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food. I'd certainly go here again. We had a little competition going on. I purchased haddock and chips from here, whereas my family used Mr. COD(s) They ordered first, and had to wait the best part of an hour for delivery as the times kept changing, then they had to go out to find the delivery rider. I was eating mine within 20 minutes after collecting from Fresh Fare. Mine was also £3.60 cheaper.

   Told us it had arrived 30 minutes prior to us calling, when we called they said the driver was just leaving the restaurant. The food was undercooked and tasted funny and the majority of our chicken was raw from the chicken balls to the sweet and sour chicken and the Thai green curry. Do not recommend. You will get sick.

   I was always a loyal customer, but no more I’m afraid, crazy prices, £3.70 for small chips! What a shame. Plus, I paid £3.70 and got barely cooked chips, so sad! The cod’s batter was very oily and reminded me of supermarket battered cod, not crisp fish n’ chip shop batter. Come on Fresh Fare!

   I used to go all the time for their fish and chips but recently they have become absolutely terrible. The chips are overfryed and tasteless and the chicken feels like it's come out of the freezer and chucked straight in dirty unchanged oil. Decided (as i enjoyed them a long time ago) to give them another go but been three times in the past two months and nothing has changed. Really dissapointed to say I won't be returning back.

   Avoid this place if you value your life. Ordered a chicken curry and egg fried rice today as part of the lunchbox meal. The chicken was undercooked and still bloody and raw ! The egg fried rice tasted off too. I left feeling sick, hungry and buying lunch again elsewhere. To top it off, these guys only accept cash. Are money laundering investigators and the food standard agency making note of this place?

   Tried this for the first time yesterday, just got a snack....2 large spring rolls and chips. Spring rolls were decent, chips were atrocious. Had one or two , the rest went in the bin. They tasted and looked like they'd been left over from yesterday. Hard, pale and chewy. Nothing fresh about them. You cannot give customers garbage like this and expect them to return. Bad move " Fresh " Fare we won't be back.

   Such a shame. For years this place was a favourite of mine but on returning Wed evening and paying £21 for two haddock & chips I got home to discover the chips & the fish to be inedible. They had been fried in rancid oil and we had to bin the lot. I understand Fish & Chip shops are struggling with the price of oil going up but using old oil and charging at full whack isn't good business.
