The best chinese take away in South London, and further! I have moved multiple times but wont move from this restaurant. The best food! Its true - you get what you pay for. Things aren't cheap if compared to other local places but the quality is so much better its worth it!

Simply won't go anywhere else now. The food is exceptional. The staff phenomenal. I was a regular at good earth but their prices are unbelievable. This is a family run restuarant with a rich heritage of over 35 year that fought to keep its name. I will continue to support Katie and the team here with sit down meals and takeaways I simply love it! Booking is advisable and I am never ever disappointed here

The best Chinese food I have ever eaten. It's AMAZING! It's so much fresher and nicer than any other chinese food I have eaten. No stodge, just lots of flavour and it's delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful and atmosphere is nice. My favourite.

MC China Wimbledon’s Best-Kept Secret for Comforting Chinese Classics Tucked just off the Wimbledon Broadway, MC China is the sort of local gem that quietly builds a loyal following not through flashy signage or social media hype, but through consistently brilliant food, warm service, and a comforting atmosphere that keeps you coming back. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed like an old friend. There’s a sense of familiarity and ease, the kind you only get from places that are rooted in community. The staff are genuinely lovely efficient, kind, and attentive without ever being overbearing. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing a takeaway, the experience always feels personal. The menu is full of the familiar favourites you crave on a rainy London evening, but there’s a noticeable freshness and finesse that sets them apart. Their crispy chilli beef is perfectly balanced: crunchy yet tender, with a sauce that’s bold, sticky, and full of depth without being cloying. The Singapore noodles come piled high, gloriously aromatic, with just the right kick of spice and no greasiness each strand infused with flavour. The humble egg fried rice is done with care, every grain distinct, seasoned just so, and never an afterthought. Portions are generous, prices reasonable, and everything arrives hot and beautifully packaged if you're ordering in. But honestly, there’s something charming about eating in the clink of cutlery, the hum of quiet chatter, and that sense that you’ve stumbled on a proper neighbourhood favourite. It’s unpretentious, consistent, and wonderfully satisfying. If you live in Wimbledon and haven’t been, go. And if you don’t, MC China is worth the journey. M the reviewer.

First time at the restaurant. We ordered the lunch time deal menu. It comes with a main course with rice, a side and a drink. All for £12.50. Good value and the food was yummy! Portion size was decent. The chefs were very friendly and they came out from the kitchen to say hi to the customers. As there were three of us, we ordered 3 sets of the deal to share: Sweet &Sour Pork Hong Kong Style with Egg Fried Rice + Chicken Wings, Four Seasons Seasonal Vegetable with Fried Noodles + Prawn Toast, and Prawn in Spicy Garlic Sauce with Egg Fried Rice+Barbecue Spare Ribs. We didn’t realise that the restaurant would close at 2.30pm. We came late and ordered around 1.30pm. The food came very quick but we felt a bit rushed to eat up and the staff was keen to clean and tidy up. We will definitely come back again.

Ordered for the first time this weekend when their menu leaflet was posted through the letterbox. We went for the set menu for two. It was incredible. Delivered within 20 minutes. All the dishes were very tasty and of high quality. Very generous portions as well, took us most of the evening to get through it all. 10/10 will be definitely ordering again.

As a Chinese person, the quality is very good and we love the food! The staff are very friendly and the restaurant has a warm atmosphere. For delivery, make sure to order earlier as delivery time, because of many orders, can increase. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, food was great. The BBQ spare ribs was flavourful and tender. Food arrived quickly. Tried Sake for the first time, and it went well with the food. Overall great experience.

Upon creating this review, I cannot find a single downfall with the restaurant. The staff were nothing short of amazing, which matched the quality of the food. Furthermore, the history behind the name is very interesting and amusing. The decor could maybe use some work but still not enough to bring the review down from the full 5 stars.
