Great place and absolutely delicious food. I could not fault any item from the starter, we had the wasabi prawns and the starter platter. The mains were also great but the Cantonese shredded beef was abit chewy but nonetheless they allowed us to change this for something else. Customer service was fab. Definitely recommend!!

I've dined at Zheng (Chelsea) several times and I'm always delighted. Most recently I went there with my family for my birthday and the food was great. There is a very decent variety of foods available to pick from. They also have select dishes that are available in gluten free options. The staff are super lovely too and I'm always so grateful for how well they look after us when we dine there, especially on special occassions. Thank you!

Service was good and very friendly! However, food was disappointing… in particular the beef rendang which was dry and not tender. The char kuey teow was OK. I would recommend the king prawns if you do end up going though.

We visited Zheng as an extended family of 12 people on a Friday evening. A few people in our group had a Halal requirement and we chose Zheng as it offers a Chinese menu that is fully Halal (no pork served). Certainly a USP in this part of town. It was also positive to see no menu restrictions due to our group size, although we voluntarily called ahead to pre order. We did stick mostly to Chinese but tried out a couple of their Malaysian dishes as well. Between us we ordered the prawn toast, salt & pepper squid, edamame and prawn dumplings to start, followed by the sweet & sour chicken, cereal king prawns, beef rendang, green beans, broccoli, egg fried rice and a few roti canai. The food was generally solid. My favourites included the salt & pepper squid, cereal prawns (huge) and the sweet & sour chicken. I was not a huge fan of the beef rendang but that is generally the case at most places I try it, so perhaps just a personal preference. The staff were quite friendly. We had requested a quicker paced meal and things moved along at a decent clip. The bill for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids came to £464 of which £40 was spent on drinks. A bit pricey but not excessively so. Overall a solid Chinese meal. In this area Huo would be my top pick for Chinese, while there are a few authentic Malaysian options in the Bayswater area, but Zheng is a good option that combines the two cuisines plus it certainly has appeal for Halal eaters as well. I would return.

Food was AMAZING our favourite was the Nasi Lemak, I’m on a bit of a mission to find the best version and so far this one wins hands down. We also had the duck again amazing and a winner with children. One of our party had not had crispy cereal king prawn in a long time and said this version was delicious, again also a winner with the children in the party. We also LOVED the desserts on offer and had virtually one of everything. As always my favourite was the mango pudding but it is also worth trying the Sagu Melaka which was tapioca served in the shape of a flower on cane sugar syrup. The Bubur Hitam was also really nice and not overly sweet, it was unusual as I’ve never had black rice porridge before. Special mention for the service which was super polite and friendly, the manager engaged with the children making them laugh. Atmosphere was relaxed and we all had an amazing time. Worth booking in advance as it fills up fast (not surprisingly).

Epic Malaysian food and all Halal. Although I didn’t order much, what I did order was exceptional and enjoyed every moment of it. The service was impeccable and even gave us a photo snap for my date. 4.8 out of 5

Very much overpriced… I can accept it if the food taste delicious. However, it’s just mediocre…I probably can cook better at home myself. Char Tway Teow was a bit cold and not much flavour. But when I tired the broccoli it was even more tasteless…no garlic flavour nor salt. The deco in the restaurant was cool and the service was excellent. Staffs are really friendly - add a star here for the service I got otherwise it will be two stars. Unexpectedly, they offered polaroid photos to us for free (not every table got this)

We just received and ate our delivery meal. What a disappointment.Overall flavourless food with frozen vegetables. 6 small tasteless shrimps for 29 pounds...Not even the quality of a "bad chinese restaurant" for an outrageous price. We do not recommend at all.

Malaysian and Cantonese menu. Nice decor, well air-conditioned, very friendly and chatty staff. I had Aromatic crispy duck starter - this was one of the best I've tried, the duck was cooked well and very delicious. The pancakes are big. Nasi Lenka - the chicken was delicious, rice flavoured with coconut, side of peanuts and egg and a paste sauce. Anchovies I am not keen on so didn't eat them. I enjoyed this dish. Crisp beef - it is very crispy cooked all the way through so it doesn't even taste like beef anymore and covered in a sweet sauce. It was like eating niknaks. I didn't enjoy this dish as much as the rest. Golden prawns - giant prawns covered in crushed cornflakes. Again this tatsed too sweet for me, I enjoyed the prawns but I wouldn't recommend. Complimentary prawn crackers. This came to over £100 for 2 people. I feel like this was a little pricey. Parked on single yellow.
