   I had a really excellent meal here last night. I was searching for a Chinese restaurant in the area, and disappeared on Google Maps. I went in I was seated at the bar. The menu was very nice and I chose seafood XO and boiled rice. The food was delicious, the XO sauce was smoky and automatic as it should be, and I absolutely enjoyed my meal. There are some very nice touches here and lots of regulars I could see coming in and out so this place is very well taught off by the people who frequent this place. I hope to return soon. The only thing I would say is that when I went in, I was waiting quite a while to order, not an issue for me because I wasn’t in any rush, but I could see how perhaps others might have either left or said something, but overall the service is very nice. I am not going to remove any stars for the delay in ordering, because I’m sure by mentioning it here hopefully this can be improved.

   Having visited London many times, Good Earth has become one of my go-to spots, and for good reason. This restaurant has been a London staple for alomost decades, and it’s easy to see why. We ordered a classic lineup of dishes: shrimp toast, stir-fried chicken, spring rolls, and fried rice. Each one was a hit. The food here is consistently delicious, but the spring rolls are a particular standout. There's a distinct difference in European-style spring rolls that I prefer, and Good Earth’s are a perfect example—flavourful and satisfying. While our service was a little slow at the beginning, we were quickly attended to after a short wait, and everything went smoothly once the food started arriving. Perhaps we were just a bit "hangry" to start! Despite my frequent visits, my fondness for this place isn't just nostalgia. The quality and taste truly speak for themselves, making it a reliable and delicious choice every time I'm in London.

   I recently dined at The Good Earth Chinese restaurant at knightsbridge, and while I was initially impressed with the quality of the food, my experience took a disappointing turn. The mains were good, and we were looking forward to finishing off our meal with the banana toffee dessert. However, when we received the dish, we found a hair in the fried banana. When we brought this to the attention of the manager, he simply said he would talk to the kitchen and offered an apology. To my surprise, he didn't offer to refund the dessert or replace the dish. Given that we spent £100 on two mains, one starter, and dessert, I expected a higher level of service, especially from a high-end restaurant. This lack of responsiveness to a serious issue left me very disappointed. I won’t be returning, as I believe customer service should match the quality of the food.

   the best menu here was aubergine stirfried with dry shrimps. mapo tofu was alright, beef with thai basil was also okay but think it is slightly overpriced for quality.

   Well this is just the place to visit after a good walk around Harrods. Of course there are dozens if not hundreds of places to eat in and around Knightsbridge but I do enjoy a great Chinese restaurant when I find one. The food was stellar, a great wide selection and very authentic. Service was top notch and hospitality was wonderful. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Again, food was just sublime, no issues whatsoever and didn't take too long. It was very busy so it's certainly worth booking a table ahead of time. The hot and sour soup and the sweet and sour prawns were definitely the highlight of the meal. Loved all the food, wish I had ordered more! Great sombre ambience. Will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

   I’ve already visited The Good Earth three times, each one was fantastic. They make wonderful Chinese food, the variety is large and every dish delicious. I would especially recommend the amazing soups and the lemon chicken which was popular. Service is also superb. Loved it.
