I love Chinese food and I'm wegetarian. It seams to be difficult to find proper Chinese meal for me. Golden Dragon offers a special wegeterian menu and I'm so impressed with the taste and texture of chicken-like meal! Why you should visit Golden Dragon? Fast service, reasonable prices, great options for wegetarian. What may not impressed you? Busy, noisy restaurant and your bill will be topped up with 12,5% of service charge. All in all - good place to dine

Thank you for making our family lunch yesterday. we booked for Saturday dinner but my niblings flight got soooo badly delayed they just want to go home and rest. should have been 11 but only 9 came as the oldies preferred to rest instead. the resto staff were so accommodating, food so yummy and arrived right on time. we had everything we ordered even additional pancake for the crispy roast duck but of all thing was so delayed was the edge fried rice. the checked up few times but because it was so busy and only one person responsible for it in the kitchen and the resto was packed, both downstairs and upstairs it was an over sight on their part. the manageress came over and upon learning we ordered the rice along the rest of the food she apologised. it was a very small mistake but needed to mentioned that. Thank you golden dragon for the wonderful service you gave us and the rest of the restaurant and to think it was so packed on a Sunday lunchtime. the servers all had smile for all the customers. the roast duck, crispy pork, crispy noodles, crispy duck, dimsums, sweet and sour fish so yummy and the egg fried rice once it came. we had lots of left overs to take home.

Dim sum was so good - tried the lot! The best Chinese Iβve had in London and I have been here for 20 years. Char ciu pork buns and deep fried garlic prawn something (on the specials menu) were my favs. The place reminds me of dim sum places in Hong Kong. Tables free up quickly but they wonβt give you a table until your entire party is there.

Came from Canada. Rough staff and service soon as they found out we couldnt speak chinese. I see the racism in the staff varies and they really want to push you out even though theres like several tables empty. But they were nice at first cause mother could speak it. Food was good. Sui mai was small for its price but tasted nice. Hargow was nice. The rice noodles were surprisingly good. Texture and integrity was good. Wish they gave more soy sauce instead of only covering the bottom. And I think it was more oil than sauce. Clay pot rice with chicken and mushroom was ok. I was expecting a burnt bottom or even a little bit. Softshell crab was great. Overall id say a little expensive for its sizes and portions for some of them.

Golden Dragon is everything you want from a Chinatown restaurant. Fast, attentive service, great food, and a buzzing atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, the table we had booked was ready for us straight away, and despite the restaurant being fast-paced and busy, we never once felt rushed. There were so many staff on hand that we never had to wait for anythingβcredit to the team for running such a slick operation. We ordered the Oriental Set Menu, and the restaurant was more than happy to accommodate a swap from beef to chicken for one of our party, which meant everyone could enjoy the full menu together. A thoughtful touch that really stood out, and one they were within their right to not need to accommodate. The meal began with a comforting chicken and corn soup, before the array of mains arrived. The standout for me was the Sweet and Sour Pork which was perfectly balanced, crispy, and packed with flavour. My friends raved about the Stir-Fried Diced Chicken with Cashew Nuts and the Spicy Szechuan Prawns, both cooked to perfection. The duck dish was also excellent, rich and tender, and rounded off the meal beautifully. Overall, Golden Dragon delivered a brilliant Chinatown dining experience being efficient yet friendly service, excellent food across the board, and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended, and Iβll definitely be returning.

A very good Chinese restaurant in the heart of London's Chinatown district The restaurant is spacious although the decor could be refreshed. The food is delicious, at a price comparable to establishments around. We took several different dishes and tried with friends, treating each other, everything was very tasty. Service efficient but somehow so sad. Despite the very large number of customers, we did not wait long.

Very good Chinese restaurant in China town, very easy to find it on the main road of China Town, London. The restaurant is spacious, the food is very delicious with such a cheap price compared to its location and portions. We tried Cantonese style crispy chicken, crispy pork belly with rice, crab meet and sweet corn hot soup.

Dim sum selection is not as many as other places but the flavor is great. The roast duck and roast pork is a must. The crispy roast pork is also quite nice. One of the best in london for εη

I've been here a couple of times and have always enjoyed it. Lots of food options, reasonably made and inexpensive for its location and quality. Toilets were nicer than I expected given the location and size of the venue, basic, but satisfactory. Staff were attentive and pleasant, service was prompt and I didn't have to wait forever for the bill or to pay (pet hate). Overall a good place to catch up with a group of friends, but not the most exciting of menus.

The food was delicious. If you're going for the dim sum, please note they run out of them around lunch. Dish sizes vary. Some are rather small (like the soups), while others are more than enough for one person (like the noodles). You really gotta look at other tables to see what they're getting. Crowd is very mixed (local and tourist), which is a good sign. My only issues were the time it took for the food to arrive, which was around 25 minutes. Granted, the restaurant was busy. And the prices were higher than I expected.
