Worth it for the roast duck. The wait can be long, no reservation, turn up and you may get a table. The seating is tight, not a lot of elbow room, but it has its charm. The payoff for the wait and limited seating is that you get authentic dim sum at an extremely competitive price point. All the classics are here, xio long bαΊ£o, ha cαΊu, chΓ‘u fung. All made to order and has the authentic taste. The duck is the star of the show and it is worth getting a plate to share with the table.

the goat dim sum by far in London - definitely not your typical Chinatown fare, way more authentic and this is coming from a born and bred Cantonese, I had the hargao which was super fresh and humongous, the har cheong which was halfway between 8th avenue and avenue u, the beef chow fun which had excellent beef roastie, the turnip cake which was charred and smooth throughout, the short ribs which was hot and just savory and perfect, and the soup dumplings which you can skip but still decent. and overall we were able to sit inside despite the 1-hour wage. but oh man I don't know this is the place guys just do it, is worth the wait, will be back, those four stars here don't know what they're talking about

We waited 45 mins for 2 pax and it was worth it. The food was authentic in all ways - Cantonese Hong King style. The roasted duck was crispy, and yet juicy. The aroma of the fat of the skin was a delight. The wanton soup was excellent. The chicken feet was braised to the right texture. The only issue was with the Chee Cheong Fun (rice prawn roll) and the Har Kao (Steamed prawn dumpling) - the skin was too thick that diluted the otherwise fresh prawns. Another drawback is the place is rather small and tight. We were seated at a table near to the counter and the entrance. We could literally feel the movement of people coming and going which was rather discomforting while having a meal. However, the great food diminshed all the distraction. This place is a good alternative to the Four Season Duck.

We tried a few dishes at Dim Sum Duck tonight, including golden king prawn, razor clam, wontons in chilli oil, and Cantonese sponge cake. All were solid, but my absolute favourite was the golden king prawn. What really impressed me about this dish is the way they handled the crispy salted egg yolk coating. You can tell the chef mastered the technique by frying the yolk to release its aroma before tossing it with the prawns at the last moment. It’s easily one of the best versions I’ve had, and a dish I’d come back for.

Fabulous service! We were very lucky as we came at 2pm and got a table immediately for 3pax for exterior dining. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Food incredibly awesome. Stir fried broccoli has a nice wok-hei (charred β€˜breath of the wok’) aroma. Char Siew (Honey Roast Pork), flavourful, aromatic, tender; roast duck soaked in similar sweet soy sauce from the char siew is tender with an awesome crispy skin, with a very thin & aromatic fat layer, simply awesome. The egg fried rice is a little dry but has the awesome wok-hei aroma. Finally, the Cheong Fun, love the delicate & smooth texture, dribbled with peanut sauce and sweet soy - awesome, awesome, awesome! Highly recommended.

Stumbled on Dim Sum Duck while strolling around and searching for some good Asian food. It was definitely worth it! I had some dumplings and a main noodles dish, everything was superb. The interior is not that spacious so I'd probably recommend the place for small groups up to 4 people. Staff is kind, service was good and quick. Probably reserving a table is the best option during peak hours, I could easily find seating but it was 5pm on a weekday.

Very tasty Chinese dim sum food here. Very limited seats, came here after 2pm for a late lunch will be better. All food is nice this time except the garlic prawns spring rolls, the taste of garlic a bit too strong. The soup dumpling was so good, but be careful it s so easily broken as the skin just very thin and tasty.

One of the best dim sums and roasted duck in London, without a doubt. The prawn and chive dumpling is the juiciest and best dim sum you'd ever tasted in your life. Also recommend the pork/prawn cheung fun, Shanghai pork dumplings, vegetarian dumpling in chili oil and a portion of roasted duck is a must. The service is friendly and impeccable, the only downside is due to the popularity, you'll most likely have to wait in a line. But the food is definitely worth the wait!

Big (sized) but delicate dim sum with really fresh quality ingredients, many sporting gigantic, whole shrimp. The Shanghai dumplings are so large each fragile pouch holds a small cup of soup. The turnip cake with bits of pork were clearly freshly made: crispy on the outside, soft and light inside. The proprietor handed out menus to customers waiting in line before opening time; service was courteous and prompt. Best to get there early for a first seating Sunday morning for dim sum.

Amazingly fresh Chinese food done so well. You usually have to queue outside for a while as they don't take bookings but it is well worth the wait. We ordered a whole BBQ duck (juicy and crispy skin), dimsum and various starters which were all so delicious. They even do a lovely Turnip cake! You don't feel sick after eating lots here, which is common for a lot of Chinese restaurants I find. Would 10/10 go again.
