   Well worth the 258 round trip by 5 trains to purchase my monkey boots from Sowerbys. Lovely owner Clive, responded to my e-mail, been in the family business for 100 years next year who saved my boots and his assistant Jean who's 90 next year....... good quality, fair price, great selection of footwear ,pity it may close next year (retirement).    Came across this shop while on short break in Stourbridge. Couldn't believe how reasonable the prices in the window were. Went inside and tried on a pair of "R21" trainers. Very comfortable so bought them. Next day I walked for miles around Winchester, the following day climbed the hill at Kinver, over somewhat rough ground. The shoes withstood everything, so I went back to the shop and bought a second pair! The service in the shop was really good, the sort of thing you can only get at an independent store. I'll be back!

   They sell high quality good shoes for all the family .Been shopping at thus shop for very long time since 1988 .Both under previous ownership and current ownership. I still got two Pairs of shoes l bought in 1980's .Which l have worn in my travels in many parts of the world .The older they get more comfortable they seem to be getting.
