Good fast delivery, but now I know why. Food needed to be cooked longer, prawns, shrimps meat etc were barely visible and had no colour/undercooked. Overall, the entire ingredients needed seasoning. Had to flash fry myself/add seasoning in a Wok before I could eat it. I also had to chase the delivery chap/and ring the restaurant to receive my can of drink which was not delivered despite asking the delivery chap at the door and him not replying!. Overall disappointing first takeaway Vong's Kitchen.

Wow, so i saw recent reviews on how the food and taste has changed but i ignored them and decided to check it out for myself and i wasted my time. I use to live in the area about 1/2 years ago and the food was the BEST Chinese Iβve ever had. since I relocated, I decided to take a trip down to get some food and it has definitely changed. Thereβs literally no taste to the food, itβs so bland itβs really bad. not sure if the chef has changed but this new recipe is NOT IT AT ALL. The place looks good and clean but the food is just bad. Wonβt be returning back cos itβs not worth it anymore

I have been going to this restaurant for many years. Originally it was known as Good Friends, then it changed hands to Vongs. At this point the food was great. It has now changed hands again. The food is such poor quality. An example is the salt & pepper chips; hard, dry and the chips are from the freezer which makes them awful. The quality seems to have taken a dive. I do not recommend Vongs anymore. Such a shame as it used to be a decent take away.

We got Uber eats, the good arrived within the estimated time, the portions were good and the good was also nice. The veg noodles, chicken and beef dishes were quite delicious, the rice was ok and the thick noodles beef dish was so so . Overall I would order food again as I now know what are the right dishes. All halal which is plus points.

While at work at a conference in a hotel, ordered soup, dumplings, and king prawn with lo mein. I am a pescatarian and do not eat meat. All of the food that was delivered had meat in it including chicken rather than prawns. Called the restaurant to explain and they told me to contact ubereats for a refund but that's actually apparently impossible to achieve so they said they understand and would send me food that does not have meat in it. When the driver arrived I gave him back all of the food and took the new meal only to discover that the lo mein was PACKED with meat, chicken, and who knows what else but was far from anything I could eat. I ended up spending 30 british pounds on food I cannot eat, spent over an hour trying to deal with it, and ended up staying hungry because it simply did not make sense to order more food from a different place at this stage in the game. Absolute ridicule. Oh, and by the way - if you expect to get chopsticks to eat with, think again, I had to go down to the hotel restaurant to ask for silveware... embarrassing and uncalled for.

Everything Iβve tried of the menu has been great from their re-opening Sadly thereβs no more pork on the menu because I think they have gone halal

2nd time ordering from this place, really amazing food. However, this time the Beef Ho Fun in bean sauce had all the chillies in the world. I love spicy food but this was way too spicy to eat, I had to pick them out.
