   Ordered food last evening. Most awful food delivered. Special fried rice, special chow wing layered in soya sauce till the colour was very dark, very salty, all the food delivered was absolutely disaster. £60.00 plus went in the bin as it was inedible. Had pizza in the freezer which we put in the oven. Up to 2 years ago their food was the best locally. Take note “Four Seasons”. I wonder how many of the reviews are facts.

   Poor quality food and does not taste good. The dumplings in the won ton soup tasted like dog food. Also it has some weird brown fat floating on the soup, really unpleasant. Avoid.

   Special fried Rice was disgusting taste off salt, Sweet and chicken Hong kong style was burnt. Waste off money, call the restaurant, woman told me the issue was my taste buds. Damn rude will not be ordering from there again.

   Look past the appearance. The food is top notch. I really enjoyed the food here, very tasty and plenty of choice. Highly recommend the Malaysian dishes, especially the fried rice. Spice levels good, ask for extra spicy if that's your thing and you won't be disappointed. Good food at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

   Do not order from here!! This is actually the worst Chinese I’ve probably ever eaten. All dishes were soggy and tasteless. They didn’t even bother putting my main dish I’d been looking forward to so much in the bag! I called up and asked the stroppy unhelpful woman on the phone if she could go through deliveroo and get my main dish delivered she clearly couldn’t be bothered and even though it was their mistake they wanted me to deal with it and get a refund through deliveroo! I’ve worked in restaurants for years and never have I know such bad food and bad service! This place needs shutting down its shocking. It’s very clear that the people putting 5 star reviews are staff members and their friends probably with money incentives from the owner, don’t believe them and don’t waste your money!

   Just yesterday I made an order via just eat. There were four things in the list. Roast duck with mixed vegetables: Duck was soggy and mixed vegetables were too soft. Steam buns with chicken filling: Buns were old as it was crumbling, do not order it. They are supposed to be super soft if its fresh. Calamari rings: Soggy again but probably was the best thing out of them all 3/5 Vegetable dumpling: They didn't have them, but didn't even bother calling up and asking whether I would like a substitute. Driver turned up telling me to get my refund from Just eat. I called the takeaway and the lady over the phone tries to insist that driver is unable to deliver just the dumplings again. My answer was that it wasn't my problem, you should have called me whilst preparing the order to ask if I want a substitute. She then agrees to deliver. I get a call in the next 30 min saying that driver has fallen ill and gone home, sorry but it cannot be delivered. How much more obvious can it get that she was lying about it. A driver gone off sick at 9 ? straight after when I requested a redelivery? knowing that your take away is busy? Appalling service, I was really looking forward to the food but they put me really down. I would never be ordering from them again. A restaurant should not run their service based on lies. First of all your food isn't great plus you made that mistake and top it off by not rectifying it. They think that customers are stupid and don't know what the truth is. 3/10 Trust me the food isn't great at all so save your money. If you're local to Ilford you will be 10 times more happier going to Yen Lin and ordering from there in Goodmayes, then wasting your money at this takeaway.
