   Ordered a takeaway through deliveroo and I excitedly waited for my order, I then realised that my order was running very late and the app was providing no real time information. I called up China Garden ( after waiting to be spoken to as they were busy) I eventually spoke to someone who had informed me that my order would be there soon, 45 mins later after placing my order the food still hadn’t arrived. I called them and they said “ it had been delivered” you could imagine mine and my two small children’s surprise as we had not eaten, nor received the order. I had at this point had more than enough, I contacted Deliveroo who annoyingly informed me that as China Garden had used their own driver, they were unable to do anything. So lucky me and my kids. No food. No refund and No apology! In the end it turns out my order had been delivered to my neighbour across the road and they kindly knocked and gave us our delivery! Suffice to say I can not say anything positive about this experience. Order here if you don’t mind your order being dropped just about anywhere and no offer of apology or compensation for your troubles. Oh yes, I called this restaurant back to inform them of their mistake and was met with “‘we are very busy, we will call you back!” Spoiler! Nobody has called me back!

   I’m really disappointed with this Chinese takeaway. The food had absolutely no salt or flavour—everything tasted bland . Even the dishes that should’ve been rich and savoury were completely lacking any seasoning. For the price, I expected something much better. Sadly, I won’t be ordering from here again

   Very nice people of course,but very plain food and very disappointed with the small amount of chicken and meat In the dishes,seem to be scrimping on the food,the chicken balls were classic! Half of them had no chicken In them! Please china garden sort it out! Especially with first time customers who may come back again

   Just ordered from this restaurant through deliveroo, food arrived fast within 30mins. However, the prawn crackers were stare, the chicken chow mein was clearly not fresh, the king prawn butterfly was more like small size and cooked in old oil whilst the Singapore fried rice tasted like it was cooked 2 days ago. I immediately called the shop requesting fresh food as there is no way anyone can eat this food and instead of an apology they said I should complain through deliveroo. Rude service and absolutely terrible food. At this rate I won't risk food poisoning. Not fit for purpose

   I went there at a late night as there’s no other Chinese is still open at that time, the bad review was putting me off, but obviously I had no option so I went there To my surprise, the food was actually alright, the fried rice was actually quite good, chicken wings was a bit too salty, but other than that, it’s quite nice. so probably will go back again if it’s really late also they take card payment as well which is quite good

   A Meal to Remember for all the Wrong Reasons. Because Gyoza wasn’t taking orders we went on the deliveroo site and found China Garden. The food albeit nice was extremely poor quality, the duck was diced for a toddler to eat, the Singapore noodles was just a bowl of noodles and someone had forgotten to add the meat. The crispy shredded beef was inspired from Michelin and honestly the rubber substance had to be thrown straight into the bin. I can only apologise for my honest review but the standard of food suggested this restaurant is struggling to make ends meet so make up with a sorry state of ingredients. I don’t think I will be giving them a second chance.

   I went here a couple of days ago and took the risk after all the bad reviews(only 1 time risk). But now maybe it has changed owners and it's better now? As it looked like only 1 chinese guy was working there who spoke perfect English and I didn't see anyone else in sight. But anyways what i ordered was delicious which was roast duck with bbq sauce on egg fried rice.

   Ordered from China Garden last night. We've been ordering from here for years and always enjoyed the food but last night's meal was so disappointing I had to leave a review. The delivery, as always was fast and our food arrived before the estimated delivery time. That's where the positive experience ended. The Hot and Sour Soup (that we've had 100's of times before over the years) was so spicy it was almost inedible. We had a quarter crispy duck, which again we've had many times before, but this time it was full of bones. The Singapore noodles were dry, tasteless and had barely any meat or shrimp in. The prawn crackers were stale and tasted like they'd been sitting out in the sun all day. And the Lemon Chicken was dry and severely overcooked. We ate the meal because we were hungry and it was getting late but it was a disappointment from start to finish. But the most disappointing part was when I phoned to complain. The guy I spoke to barely spoke English, I had to repeat myself several times and when he eventually worked out what I was saying he said he'd have the manager call me back......I'm still waiting!! Normally this place would be high on my list of recommended places to order from but after last night's experience I doubt I'll order from there again. You've lost a loyal customer of 11 years which is a real shame.
