Ate at this restaurant with my family. The restaurant looks amazing with unique art works on the wall. Service was pleasant enough. Food was ok, nothing special but didn't blow us away. I wouldn't go out my way to eat here again but if my kids ask to go I would return.
Food was so nice and chicken was very crispy and juicy. Not much of an atmosphere and very quiet inside except for TV noise. Most of the desert menu also not available but we enjoyed what we ordered and would go again.
We loved the food. We’ve visited as a couple and as a family. It wasn’t great for a big group only one table that’s seats 5- 6 people the rest of the tables seat typically 2 or 4 people. We managed to fit into a booth with 2 adults and 3 teens- JUST. The food was delicious and so much choice which meant we couldn’t choose an ordered everything.
Reviewing the branch in freight island. We saw someone order these and aesthetically they look incredible so we ordered some ourselves. We got the 500g fried chicken and unsure if we got a bad batch but the chicken was crazy dry, every piece we had was so dry and the chicken wasn’t even that hot. I felt like half the weight was batter and not to mention the sauces we had to pay for too. I believe it was around £16 which was ludicrous for the quality and quantity of food we got. Maybe the main branch in Liverpool is better but was very disappointed.
Chicken & Tunes….. errrrr we got background music and utterly irrelevant screen videos, one showing Robot Wars, one showing a bbc show & another with the start screen for The Simpsons show, the food was nothing more than average fried food & the atmosphere was non existent. How about putting videos on that relate to the music being played……… not a good place to go at all, avoid if you want tunes and a bit of life….
Every part of this meal was delicious. The onion rings were the best I've ever had. Highly recommend, I'll be back.
Really nice informal place with great food, friendly service and good tunes. Fabulous fried chicken, burgers, loaded fries and more. We always end up ordering too much and bringing the remaining snacks home with us. Would definitely recommend for some down and dirty fried food. Love the outdoor terrace too (with heaters if it gets a bit nippy). Will most definitely will be back!
