   Really lovely store that was found by accident, I visited the shopping centre to get my daughters feet measured at Clark’s and to buy some school shoes, they didn’t have tbar velcro shoes in the size she needed in the style we wanted but had buckle ones, I wanted to preferably get Velcro’s so visited deichmann but they had non in her size, ended up going back towards Clark’s to get the ones I had seen with a buckle but I accidentally went the wrong way And instead of heading to M&S to use the lift to get to the upper floor I went towards where clinks was. really nice store looks a bit dated in terms of decor but I really liked that it reminded me of when I was younger getting my school shoes, they had a lovely selection of shoes an non school shoes and we found the perfect shoes for my daughter that were both tbar and Velcro, very happy with my purchase. the staff members were very friendly and helpful, will Definitely be visiting again to purchase some shoes for my younger child.

   I was very disappointed with my recent visit to the store. A friend had recommended this shop to get "1st pair of shoes" for my little one. When we arrived all staff was in a huddle just chatting, I went over and waited patiently to get my little ones feet measured, after a few minutes of non of the staff noticing we was even there I asked for assistance. The woman who measured feet came over told us just the size (not width) and then walked of and continued her chat with the staff. We sat there another few minutes thinking surely she will come back and recommended 1st pair of shoes and what fit is best etc. But all the staff continued having their chat. At this point I lost my patience and took my little one to clarks instead who measured them to a different size than what clinks said and they were much more helpful! 2 stars just because they had some nice shoes in but service is terrible

   We visited Clinks last weekend at Meadowhall looking for our 1 year olds first shoes. We had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and patient with our little one who wasn't thrilled at having her feet measured. They gave us a few options of shoes that they had in stock in the right size and we left very happy with the experience and the shoes. Would highly recommend and we will be back for her shoes in the future.

   I have been buying my shoes for my three children at Clinks in meadowhall for over 4 years after deciding that clarks were not the shoes they used to be. However when I picked my son up from school yesterday and he was wearing flipflops and had the biggest blister on the side of his big toe I was not impressed. I pay over the odds for a what was quality service and expert staff who have up until now measured well and I have been very happy. So rather than make him suffer anymore I went onto google to make sure they were open until later as I dont finish work until 6pm the meadowhall website said 9pm. I arrived at 7:02 pm to find the shutters half way down and the manager telling me she can't help me as the tills are off. I explained I wouldnt be buying anything as i only just bought these shoes but wanted him remeasured and given a pair of shoes that fit? Only to be told No sorry she can't help me. The whole of meadowhall was still open just them who were closing. She told me last week they were open until 9pm not this week!!! I explained that I lived 45 mins away and had rushed here after work to sort this issue. Again not interested. I am really unhappy with the service and attitude of the manager who I have seen in the store on my many visits over the years!!! I will return at the weekend so I am not rushed and expect this matter to be sorted!!! I will be looking elsewhere for an independent school shoe seller in future so that is at least £200 a visit you are losing.

   Really happy with the customer service we received this morning at Clinks in meadowhall. My husband and I visited for our 10 month olds first pair of shoes and were served by Alicia who was so kind and attentive, the perfect kind of person you'd want for such a memorable event in your child's life. The rest of the staff members tending to other customers seemed very pleasant in passing too! The shop itself also had a great range of shoes to cater for our son's questionably awkward feet! Will definitely be returning and also recommending to others!

   A very small shop trying to sell lots of different children's shoes. However, on a busy day, it is so difficult to browse the shoes as children are sitting with their parents below the visible shoe displays having their feet measured for fitting, so it is difficult to browse
