   Lewis and Troy were the most polite, respectful and helpful members of staff I have encountered. They were both honest and to the point and exceeded expectations in the way they delivered great customer service. Lewis gave some excellent advice and was more that happy to go above and beyond. If they couldn't help then he pointed me in the right direction of where could. Troy also made a conscious effort to include himself and pass on his knowledge regarding the reason we visited. Also, a very helpful, approachable and professional member of the team. Nothing was too much trouble and they both did a fantastic job in ensuring our transaction ran smoothly, successfully and quickly. These two chaps are a perfect example of excellent customer service and represent the company superbly. Keep up the fantastic work and I will definitely be returning to the Castleford branch in the future

   Bought a faulty controller from here, tried returning with receipt within 10 days of purchase which was as early as I could get back to the store with it however they refused to accept any return even though they had sold me a faulty controller. They told me it needed to be returned within 7 days but for those of us that work and have lives it makes it quite difficult. Now I’m completely out of pocket and nothing I can do about it even though the purchase was made only 10 days ago. Beware and keep this in mind when purchasing from here they do not care about customers so that’s why I’m leaving 1 star very unhappy with the service I feel like I’ve been done over and puts a damper on Christmas

   I love a bargain and used Cash Generator frequently when I shopped in Wakefield. I was therefore delighted to spot Troy, who used to work in Wakefield, now working in my local Castleford branch. As always, he put me at ease and talked me through the mammoth task of buying my twin grandsons a news games console. It's all Greek to me, as they say, but Troy patiently explained everything I needed to know. He took his time with me and I never felt pressured to buy. I did, because I know the staff here sell truthfully and I could always pop back in if I had any concerns or questions. Highly recommended.

   I often buy my gadgets from Cash Generator. Not just for me but my family also. If possible I will always go to the one located in Castleford. Although it's not so close to me the people there are always very friendly and know their stuff. No-one more so than Troy. I was there again today and was helped by both Lewis and Troy and they are a great act with great affability but we generally go to see Troy as he is so knowledgeable, will always give honest, fair and easy to understand advice. I value his opinion greatly and has never steered me wrong. My kids love him as he is "funny". I very rarely write reviews as I never know how well they are perceived. In fact less than 10 my whole life I think. Good service requires good reviews. I want this to be seen as a fantastic review if only to mirror the service I received today. I always recommend Cash Generators over the other similar stores purely for the great value and honest reliable stock. Not forgetting the easy atmosphere. Many thanks once again guys.

   I am appalled at the fact we was told that all goods here must be in working order in order for them to sell them to customers. Putting trust in them, we bought a second hand Xbox from them for a Christmas present. Having set it up, the Xbox turns itself on and off and now completely does not turn on at all. My 5 year old step son is now without an Xbox because we was oblivious to to the lies we were told. We politely asked for a refund a week ago and was told they were unable to do that. Absolutely heartbroken and will make sure everyone knows that this place sells broken goods!!!!

   Really good place to get some cheap deals and the staff are always really helpful but honestly a lot of stuff you get from here doesn’t work or is broken but staff will always refund you if you go back within the time limit.

   This is a minus -5 star NOT a 5 star at all but thought it would stand out more as this is useful information for all. 1) Was testing a device and found a fault which they didn't admit to .. they instantly dropped £10 off the price as they could sense I was about to walk away empty handed .. Got to till about to lay out the £70 we'd discussed for the sale of DJ mixer after having to spend £4 of my own money to test the device as they apparently didn't have any printer usb cables .. Then this bombshell was dropped..'Ive just noticed something .. the ticket has been made out wrong ticket.. It's supposed priced at £180 not £80... ' .. we can't sell you it at that price .. Snatched it away from me, instantly destroyed the £80 ticket as evidence and hardly even apologised ... One word... Horrendous . Don't go..It's the worst shopping experience I've ever experienced.. period !
