Sports Direct returns policy is appalling. No refunds. Apparently this is stated in store (not apparent) and on your till receipt … a bit late to find out once the item is purchased. You cannot ring a store to enquire about stock. When you visit a store to find the item out of stock, the store manager cannot tell you where your item is in stock. Absolutely dreadful communications and customer service. Would not recommend buying from this company.

I bought a Rebook brand shoe from here 4 months ago. The shoe fell apart in a short time of 4 months. I took it to be exchanged. He asked me with my receipt if I had a box but I had my receipt. I am asking you who keeps the box of the shoes they buy. They did not exchange the shoes even though I had the receipt. What is it? It has been 4 months. They exchange them in 1 month. Which shoe gets damaged in a month? I have never heard of such a ridiculous thing in my life. I will never buy anything from Sports Direct again. My advice to you is that you should not buy either because they do not stand behind the products they sell.

Took 2 polo shirts to counter to pay, ticket on each shirt said £12 each or 2 for £19. Shop assistant said couldn't be included in deal as shirts were different fabric...... 1 was a bit silky the other tshirt material. Needless to say I walked away !!!

Visited today (02/01/24) to return something and was met by rude and arrogant staff who need a course in basic customer service. The assistant, Angela, simply barked their returns policy at me and had a very bad attitude and was arrogant throughout the whole conversation. Clearly in the wrong job. All over a pair of shorts! Assistant 'Manager', Adam, equally unhelpful. Had similar experiences in this store previously. The stock also seems to be cheap tat too compared to stock in their other stores. Their other stores generally offer better service but on the whole all brands under the Frasers group leave a lot to be desired in terms of service, particularly refunds and exchanges, but then again no surprise really when you consider their exec team and owner. Last time I'll use the place, plenty of other alternatives with better (and more intelligent) staff. Complaint logged with their HQ, not that I expect any meaningful reply from these cowboys.

I visited this store yesterday (7/4/2019) to buy some trainers. I asked the guy for some guidance and he just was not interested, he had the worst customer care skills I have ever come across. He clearly didn't want to help at all. We ended up walking out in disgust!
