Beautiful period building in the castle grounds with an open fire in the winter and a caring staff. Well priced food always prepared to order and arrives quickly. Well cooked and tasty .

I had an issue with the member of staff who was rude and abrasive. When I requested a biscoff ice cream in a sugar cone instead of a waffle cone she abruptly said "NO it's waffle or a container!" I explained to her that my daughter had an egg allergy and couldn't have the waffle cone but she'd really like an ice cream in a sugar cone. The lady flatly refused. I can't understand the logic behind this decision as a sugar cone would be significantly cheaper for the business than a waffle cone or a plastic container? Hopefully someone in authority sees this message and can educate the staff in the foolishness of this refusal!!!

Was at the Castle grounds, fancied a coffee, decided too get a black coffee to go from the Pavilion cafe, as they have the fresh grind automatic coffee machines. What I got was one spoon of instant coffee in a large cup, it was was bad tasting and very watery due to lack of coffee and size of cup and all for the cost of £2. Feel it sound be made clear you are getting instant coffee and not ground coffee.

What a lovely little cafe in the beautiful surroundings of tamworth castle, plenty of food for all on the menu including specials boards, the chips were very nice and vegan friendly a good size and value for money, I hope to try the vegan strawberry ripple next time after more chips, staff very friendly and helpful and the inside was very clean and tidy. Great cafe for food while taking your kids to the park or just out walking your dog/s, See you again soon

We did Tamworth Castle Grounds parkrun on Saturday. This lovely little cafe is just by the start/finish which had a roaring open fire burning inside. Unfortunately, it is quite small so we had to sit outside to enjoy our breakfast as not enough seating for our sizable group (but we did keep popping into to stand by the fire and warm out hands and smell the wood smoke!) Great value breakfast, and loved that you could have mushrooms on your bacaon or sausage sandwich, often not an option. And the small Full English included black pudding and coffe at just £6 Definitely recommended! (of course we also made a film of our day, you can watch that here: https://youtu.be/QMBA4nHzhkU )

Nice sandwiches, n Coffee not 2 bad. Staff are ok. Unfortunately i do find the odd few customers who use it regularly make it feel as if your not welcome. I started going to Cosy. They're Dog friendly as well. They seem not so Clicky. Its shame, cause staff fine at caffee its customers who sit outside one or two older people not pleasant.
