   Terrible customer service and rubbish products. Travelled 30 miles to the store to buy a water container. Filled it up at home with 15litres of water and a tablespoon of baking soda as instructed and it flooded my kitchen. Went back to the store and got no apology - I asked if I could test one before purchase as they look cheap but was told to go to Costa. Filled it up and the water container again leaked everywhere. Finally got a refund from uninterested staff and no apology. I asked them to remove this product from the shelves as I didn’t want other customers having the same experience from a clearly faulty product but was told it was a company decision and they weren’t going to do it. Terrible attitude from the manager of the store.

   I was browsing in store looking for a new winter jacket and a warm hat with my hood up as it was a cold day and my bald head was cold, the next thing I know I'm being accosted by security because a member of staff had called them on me for having my hood up because he himself didn't have the minerals to approach me and ask politely if I could remove it. Appalling behaviour from staff and I left without purchasing. Clearly they don't want any business if they're willing to call security so easily and are that scared.

   I certainly would not use Mountain Warehouse as I have had 2 pairs of boots from them, neither which were waterproof as advertised. The 2nd pair fell apart after 6 weeks of light use. As the products had been so poor I asked for a refund which they refused, which is my right as the goods were not fit for purpose. I contacted their head office who didn't have the manners to reply

   Just popped in to the store to check to see if you had an item available. Was put off by the state of the shop. Didn’t look as if it had been tidied in days. Boot Boxes nearly tipping over. No one to greet or approach you. Not a very good shop tbh
