I went into my local store today. To buy the Hare Christmas fleece duvet set. In double. They have it on display. But you can't get it in any size, they don't have it in stock. I desperately wanted it. Love it, but I can't even order it.

Went to the chesterfield store today, saw a toaster I liked, none on the shelves, checked the website to order and it stated Chesterfield has stock.
Asked a frazzled looking woman at the self checkout who said “we have 6” she asked someone somewhere to see if they could bring us one.
10 minutes later I was told that they couldn’t find them. This translates as “we do have them in stock, we just can’t be arsed to look properly for them as that would mean we have to do some work” was told they’d probably got lost in the warehouse and to try and order it via click and collect later in the day.
Left it a good 6 hours before putting order through only for payment to be taken, and then 30 minutes later get an email to say your order has been cancelled. No explanation at all, other than I reckon someone saw the order come through to the Chesterfield branch and thought “hang on I’ve got to try and find that toaster again that I couldn’t be arsed to find this morning” so therefore cancelled my order.
Appalling service, Dunelm need to get some staff in this place that actually want to do their job and know how to, rather than just standing looking confused and bored whilst customers scan their own items at the checkouts. Disgraceful and will not use again.

This is my first visit to Dunelm and i must say it has a large selection of products for anything to do with the home. Bedding, kitchen, bathrooms to name a few. It’s located in a retail park so easy to get to and park. You could spend a few hours in there easy and spend some money and get what you need a decent price. Cheaper options and luxury options and available to cater for all budgets and tastes. The will be going back for sure.

Nicely presented store, seems to be a lot to look at when u first walk in, definitely a lot of items to look at and buy so don't go with an empty purse.
Didn't visit the coffee shop so I not sure what that's like.
But disappointed how little fabric is available now tho, as it used to be the place to go when it was in the old building.

Great shop in terms of products. A wide selection from craft to bedding to furniture. Way finding around the shop is difficult though, lots of things in the way, it could be better spread to create an easier main path, aswell as pathway to tills from the rest of the shop.
