    Spread the word on the canals Neil. Been calling in on my way through on the boat for about 16 years. Its the sort of pub where you can take the micky out of the locals but also have tp take it. A proper pub in my book. Forgot to say but as I write this review I am drinking in the sister pub, the Bulls Head at Polesworth. Very similar atmosphere and clients.

    Lovely friendly pub, nice gardens to sit and enjoy a drink in the undercover shaded area or the sun. Drinks at reasonable prices too.

    This pub is as traditional as they get. Cash only, no card machine, only a few beers on tap. Everyone knows everyone, yet you never feel like you're not welcome. They've also added a pool room recently that's very, very nice. 50p a game, and the cues are in good shape.
