Lovely family meal for 9 people. Food came out all together and quickly for such a large party. Friendly staff, nice little pub on the canal. Delicious food, well presented.

The first thing I can say is that this pub was extremely busy when we visited on Friday afternoon. They didn't seem to have many traibed staff, so there was a bit of a wait for the bar. Other than that, the pub is fantastic, great atmosphere and decoration etc, and great views over the cove try canal in Tamworth.

Popped in to this lovely pub for some lunch and we weren't disappointed! We live on a narrowboat and could have moored right outside it, but thankfully we were just a 7 minute walk away. It's Wednesday and curry offer yay! The food was plentiful and yummy...we shared some chips too ha! The curry with naan, poppadom and mango chutney plus a drink was only £12.50! Paid extra for chips but was all amazing. The lady was welcoming and very lovely too. I recommend this pub if you're near by ❤️

What a beautiful pub right at the side of the canal, staff is very friendly and welcoming. Prices of food are reasonable. They even let us stay overnight in our campervan. We would definitely visit again when in the area.

A lovely friendly pub, where all are welcome (including dogs & children). Cozy inside for food (good pub grub!) with really helpful staff. Outside is a great garden that sits alongside the canal so it feels super relaxing. You can access the pub from the Ami road or if on foot, via the canal. Highly recommend.

Always a friendly welcome, really tasty food, good menu & a specials board. Good selection of drinks including cask ales, canal side pub with lovely garden area adjacent to the canal with a small park for the kids.

Flying visit at 5pm ish. Nice to see the pub busy. The food was very reasonably priced. I had potato leek cheese pie. Which was lovely, although it wasn't homemade, (chain pub). The chips were cooked lovely. My partner had fish and chips, and was cooked lovely, she said it was delicious. There was even a slice of rustic wholemeal bread and butter with it. Will eat there again.

Popped in for a quick bite, parking on site and lots of spaces. The pub was busy, but the staff were great and were able to seat us really quickly. Staff were friendly, available and polite, we can’t fault it. But sadly the food was really basic and average, nothing exciting, worth making the trip to or would return for. We ordered a chicken burger and beef burger with a side of classic curly fries. We also had 1 drink each and shared a pudding for under £20, so the price was great, but reflected in the food. It’s great if you just want to grab a bite and can’t be bothered to cook, but I personally didn’t enjoy as it wasn’t fantastic.
