We were a party of 18. We were later than booked due to running late at the zoo. All the staff were so accommodating of all needs. The service we recieved was very friendly staff was 10/10. Thank you so much
Had a meal here tonight for my partners Birthday. The staff really couldnt do enough for us. Daisy had a surprise cake and balloon that she sorted on a reserved table, and brought the cake out with candles. Also Sophie and Rachel deserve a mention. Food was lovely too. Highly recommended venue, in a lovely location
Had a family birthday meal here tonight, had a really good night, very helpful, friendly staff Daisy, Lillie & Niamh. Food all came out together & was really nice. Would highly recommend, visiting again in a couple of weeks for another family birthday meal
Nice pub with lovely friendly bar staff. Good quality was good. Compared to other pubs locally I found it expensive if I had paid full price for meals. Portion sizes on food for the price was the main thing that let this pub down and that they couldn't do the mega mixed grill but they could do the normal one. Good was good quality though .
Went for the new menu and had a few of the new items like the onion bahjis and the new changes to the soup with the croutons, which I think make it so much better. Our server liam was very knowledgeable surrounding the menu options and what things tasted like, etc. Daisy at the bar was very polite and was there to serve our drinks. Overall, it's great food, wonderful staff, and so will be coming back soon to try some more of the new menu! Also came for the quiz which was an added bonus, only 2 pound per person which wasn't too bad and we had a good laugh (even though we came last). Will be back soon!!
Today we celebrated my sister-in-law's birthday at the Wolferstan Arms in Shuttington. The occasion was a great success and it is very easy to highly recommend this pub. Not the prettiest of pubs from the outside but then it was a cold and grey winters day but once through the front door it was warm and welcoming. We were served by Claire today and both she and her colleagues looked after us so well. The service was excellent. There is a fair sized menu of the usual pub favourites and everyone was more than happy with their choices. Great chips! The dining room was homely and we enjoyed a table with a great view over the surrounding countryside. Will definitely revisit this pub again. Well done to the Wolferstan Arms and all that work there.
Helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful view. I didn't have food but other peoples looked really nice. Good selection of alcohol free drinks.
Very welcoming friendly pub. Food excellent, my beef was cooked to perfection! With sticky toffee pudding for sweet topped the perfect Sunday treat. Thank to our lovely waitress Chloe, really enjoyed it, we will be back xxx
Me and my friend had a lovely meal in the Wolferstan Arms this evening. We both had a burger as it was what we fancied and it did not disappoint! We had the cauliflower bites from the starter menu as a side dish and they were beautiful! Great value for money and portion sizes were good too! A real nice atmosphere and we had a great evening having a catch up. The staff were really friendly and helpful and served us with a smile. Claire in particular was great with us and we had a friendly conversation whilst she served us at the bar, an absolute credit to the place! Thank you for an enjoyable evening!
