I like pubs with cask ale and character, no cask ale but what a fantastic tiled bar... magnificent. Very friendly too.

Great atmosphere, great people, staff are amazing. Proper local boozer. Proper old school landlady is a diamond. Pubs like this are a dying breed. The bald bartender makes the experience
Great little boozer,is starting to become popular again after new management have took over dont serve food atm but are soon hopefully,come here all the time with family and friends,they have some great nights or and so great deals,dont be fooled

I haven't been here on Friday and Saturday nights, so I don't know what it's like when it's busy. The staff are good and so is the Guinness, but they could do with a better beer selection; some Birmingham craft beers would be great, although they tend to be expensive. What I really like about The Red Lion is the stunning, ornate, Victorian bar and for that I'll give it five.
Garbage patrons. Guy was a cheat at pool and he couldn't take losing rough pub never going there again. Lucky he didn't get a slap way he was speaking. Zero points
