Wow me, my brother Adam and my dad, uses the sportsmans rest quite a few times, the staff and customers make you feel welcome, I could not wish fir a nicer place than the sportsmans rest
I attended a wake after a funeral. The bar staff were really nice, friendly and polite. The food was nice and fresh. Finger buffet. My problem was the lack of parking, you have to use the road outside which is residential and the toilets weren't very nice.
Don't go there if u don't like bad language

It's a nice small pub. I was there for a team pool match. Had a brilliant time and everyone was friendly. All in all, I good evening out.

Very impressed with the function room. Clean and tidy. Had a christening party here just before Christmas it was great. I even had a proper gin glass. Toilets were also cclean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend this place.
Nice and quiet during the day.. If it's nice out you can have a relaxing pint.. Friendly staff..
