Myself and mom popped in last Sunday on speck, and the team found us a table, and explained that there would be a 'bit of a wait' and to be fair we didn't have to wait too long. Staff were soooo busy but our food arrived hot and was really lovely. I chose the turkey roast and mom enjoyed her pork belly.

I have to say this place was a massive surprise in all the right ways. I have spent twice as much for food half as good. The Sundays roast beef was just about perfect, not just the meat but the gravy and sides, all top notch. I won't waste my time going anywhere else in future. Excellent job!

Arrived at 7pm intending to have a family meal, a pub quiz was taking place which I would ordinarily enjoy, however the compare found it fine to use foul language and there was a speaker positioned above every table turned up to the max, truly ear shattering! The entire Sunday menu was out of stock, except the children’s portions oddly, which tells me they’d just decided to stop service early, as I’m sitting here writing this some off duty staff have ordered Sunday dinner! Absolutely disgusting, will never return

Had a lovely Christmas meal here this afternoon with the girlfriends family. The staff were SO friendly & efficient. Christmas spirit was high (and I'm sure the staff just wanted to get home to their families too,) but we were served with a smile. Thank you it's a 5☆ from me

1st time back after refurbishment. Place seemed a lot brighter and bigger. 4 ales on pumps, Tribute ale was tasty and well kept. Had Katsu Chicken burger (thanks for 50% off voucher), which was delicious and well presented. Will definitely be back soon.

Very clean and well laid out establishment with attentive, but not overbearing, staff. Meals presented well and efficiently. Live music on a regular basis and a quiz night every thursday. Child friendly, competitive pricing with a good selection of drinks available.

Nice enough pub with a decent car park. The car park requires you to sign in inside the pub so you don't have to pay/get a ticket. The food was decent enough, though a few items weren't available (which I believe is common at the moment.) Unfortunately, some of our meals were incorrect; the main one being a cheese and red onion chutney sandwich; they gave us a ham, cheese and red onion chutney sandwich, which is a bit of a problem when you're a veggie. It's a good atmosphere and the people are welcoming though.

Beer was lovely and the atmosphere makes you feel like you're out in the sticks - very homely. Don't bother with the food mind. Vegan curry for £11 with curry sauce that tasted like it was from a chippy. Indeed, talking of chippies, the chips with the fish were oven cooked. You guessed it, another £11. Nah.

Amazing food with super friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. I was recommended the Red Lion by my mother, raving about how the food is pretty damn amazing and I was NOT disappointed. Usually for pasta dishes you can expect them to be lukewarm most of the time, but let me tell you that not only was my food piping hot, they do not scrimp on the portion sizes. There's also an option to order from your table via the app which as an introvert I GREATLY appreciate!
