   Please don’t bother with this place. They can’t even make a drink properly. Drink is handed out with no sleeve it’s supposed to be a hot drink made with water ! Have to ask for one and pointed to them on top the coffee machine. They just want your money and you in and out in 2 mins

   Man with a streak in his hair served me, name begins with a Z. Couldn’t be bothered speaking to me, didn’t even tell me when the payment machine was ready, didn’t take my name or asked for whipped cream. Usually staff are friendly here but lately service has slipped. Atrocious when you’re paying £7 for a coffee. Staff stood around chatting and not serving

   Ordered a hot chocolate and a latte (latte was wrong but wasn’t going to wait another 20 minutes , the place was not busy yet waiting 20 minutes for a drink is a joke. Also a top tip for customer care is to SMILE . Looks like your staff don’t want to work there.

   I go here about once every six months when I'm in the area and I need to keep reminding myself they're bad and haven't gotten any better over the years; ordered a dine in drink via mobile while in the shop across the street and got a paper cup with a latte a vending machine would have made a better job of. As usual empty mugs and plates all over numerous tables despite it being quiet at the time of my visit. Much better options available in the area or go to Chapel Allerton if you really want a Starbucks.

   As with some other reviews, this is based on visiting multiple times and being disappointed time and time again. Today was the final straw when my boyfriend kindly ordered a caramel Frappuccino to be delivered by Uber to surprise me while working from home. It turned up as a cup of frozen milk, no coffee, no caramel, no straw to drink it with, literally just frozen blended milk. It wouldn’t be so bad if you weren’t paying £6-£7 a coffee, I’ve had the same thing before with a pumpkin spiced latte which was just a normal latte and when I took it back to address this they just put cream on top rather than caring enough to make it properly. There are way better coffee shops around - Rand for example - I won’t come here again

   Visited first time. As much as I love Starbucks I didn't like the service in this place. Two team members was more interested of talking than making my coffee. I've ordered babycinno and I recieved extra hot burned milk. I told to one of the team member that this is way too hot. She answered that this is baby temperature. Also I couldn't find a clean table. I visited today with a 3 years old girl.

   If you love rude staff that can’t even smile or like to sit down among dirty tables they can’t be bothered to clean then this is the place for you. Don’t try clear the tables yourself, the bins are overflowing so nowhere to put rubbish anyway. Doubly annoying when the staff are behind the counter on their mobiles or chatting while customers sit among debris. Awful.

   The coffee and service was very good but I was really impressed by the honesty and behaviour from the staff. I had got home after my coffee and realised I’d left my wallet at the street lane cafe, after a mad dash back, the staff told me they had kept it safe in the office safe for me! Absolute angels, saved me so much hassle and worry, I wish all staff I visited had those principles and behaviours!!

   Always clean and welcoming. I understand there’s price increases everywhere but I think paying the prices they charge for paninis etc is a little much… coffee is always nice though.

   Loved coming here with my son whenever I finish my skin treatment which is just next door to Starbucks. Cassie was good and have a good smiley face which brightens up the customers like me. This is applies to Mel too. Why I gave 4 star just because one of the staff wasn’t smiling and gave me a look so I’ve spoken to Cassie and asked her if she’s the manager but she said no and she’s one of the supervisors. Smile and a good service is the best thing you can give it to the customers regardless how tired you are or have a personal problem. At the end, I was pleased because I’ve seen the supervisor smiling after the problem was tackled. Might give a 5 star next time if I’ve seen the staff giving a welcome smile and a good service.
