   I went to the Bristol pear for breakfast in September to get the veggie breakfast deal on their menu. Unfortunately the machine they use to cook meat free alternatives was broken so I couldn’t have the option. I just chose to make my own by buying the individual parts as seen in the photo. I have been back two times since and even now there “machine” is still broken. I now just think they can’t be arsed to stock and cook veggie options which is fine but don’t lie on your menu that u have a veggie options and especially don’t make up some nonsense about a special machine. My friends who eat meat like the breakfast but if you are veggie don’t be tricked into thinking they will have an option for you and then settle for a measly breakfast of random ingredients :)

   Great pub at Selly Oak, near the train station. Awesome for watching sports, to meet with a group, or just by yourself. I didn't eat, but the food had an amazing scent.

   No toilet roll in most the ladies toilets on a Tuesday before the students are back and at 6pm! Also black mold yuk! Three women stood at bar chatting. Plenty they could do! Food good and service for beer good.

   The Bristol Pear is a great pub with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying good beer and tasty food. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the drinks selection is varied and high-quality. A special convenience is that the pub is located close to Selly Oak railway station, where free parking is available, making it even easier to visit. A fantastic spot for students, commuters, and anyone looking for a good time in a friendly setting.

   We had a huge group bottomless brunch here and the service was outstanding! There was never a limit or long wait on drinks, the food was great and the staff were so accommodating. 10/10 recommend

   quite good bar, not too busy. The food are really good! It’s a little pity that the bar no longer provide all day breakfast. The beer are unique with some fresh fruit smell. And the bar staff can even recommend beer for you. Nice experience

   Lovely selection of drinks and extensive menu. However, the very best thing is that they do my favourite Lillies Cider here. Large, comfortable space, with an outdoor seating area to the front. Staff are friendly and helpful. My only issues are that it is not dog friendly unless you sit outside (this isn't clear online, as the Bristol Pear comes up when you Google dog friendly pubs), and the smoking/vaping area is really grotty.
