The atmosphere here is lovely. It's always very busy and always super cosy. Service is fast and staff are friendly. The food is decent but maybe too expensive. The entire place is beautifully decorated and bathrooms very clean. The garden is covered and heated so welcoming even in the winter. Parking is a bit difficult if you've travelled by car.

We met my sister in law and nephews here half way and stopped in unexpectedly. We all really enjoyed our meals, the food was fantastic. The staff were lovely. I had the Caesar salad and can confirm it’s the best one I think I’ve ever had in any restaurant. Absolutely 10/10.

Always a great atmosphere in here. Food ok though I'd prefer more choice. Typically somewhere parents an be kids go but that's not a problem. Book your table in advance to guarantee your seat. Parking is a couple of minutes away in council car park or time limited (up to two hours) behind the Green Man pub opposite

Absolutely amazing place to eat. Sophia and Toby were so great and attentive while hosting our dinner. We were visiting as part of our 600mile charity cycle and the Plough could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. Excellent decorations, furniture, menu design and menu choices! TRY THE MAC CHEESE HASH BROWNS !!

Can’t give enough stars for this restaurant!! After getting let down by another restaurant for a family members birthday, Stella rescued our day and managed to squeeze us in. The table was lovely, in a little section just off the bar and the atmosphere was chilled but electric. The food was amazing, as always, with quick attentive service. Safe to say we will most definitely be coming back here again and cannot thank the staff enough for rescuing our birthday girl’s day

Very nice. Plenty of room for eating and drinking. It can seem pricey but i feel it is worth it. It has had a recent renovation Great food, service and friendly staff it has a nice atmosphere.

Never seen so many attentive staff in one place. Great service, friendly and bustling atmosphere as well as a good range of drinks. The food was incredible, was served quickly and was beautifully delivered. Although it was a busy Saturday afternoon, the staff didn’t make you feel rushed, nor did they appear stretched at any point. Enjoyed the whole experience, would definitely recommend anyone to visit!

My GF and I fancied Sunday lunch so thought we would pop in here to eat. The online booking is a total waste of time. It stated there wasn't a seat for hours, yet I knew the pub to be half empty as my friend was already there. When we arrived 20 minutes later we were sat at a table straight away. The food was amazing and the price was fair for the quality of it. The customer service was superb too. There is very little choice for vegetarians or vegans, which is a real shame. There is no parking, and the traffic and roads directly outside are horrendous. I have always found this establishment to be a classy place. However, the amount of kids in there today was really off putting. If I wanted to have Sunday dinner with screaming kids I'd go eat at a Wacky Warehouse. It puts me off coming back to eat here again.

The best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. French toast is also amazing and drinks. My friend said the fish is also very good. I bet anything you have there is decent. It is also dog friendly although only in the garden. It was very cold there today and the heaters are not good. If you sit close they burn you (I had a smoke coming from my hat today) and if you sit farther you can't feel them. That is why 4 stars only (heaters should be sorted).

Great atmosphere and food. Loved the interior! The topped fries were on another level. Unfortunately we did find a hair in the dough of the pizza but the staff were very apologetic and took it off our meal. Will definitely be returning
